Pre-Show

Charly Caruso welcomes us to the Kickoff show with David Otunga and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Pheonix from WWE Studios in Stamford, Connecticut. Otunga and Pheonix say they are looking forward to Undertaker-Goldberg and Orton-Triple H match respectively. Then the match line-up is presented for today’s show.

We get the highlights from Brock Lesnar’s beatdown on Seth Rollins earlier this week on RAW and telling Paul Heyman that he will cash in MITB briefcase on Friday. Next, we see Paul Heyman in a pre-recorded promo. He says Rollins stole the title from Lesnar at WrestleMania and he has to pay the price. He has paid that price on Monday but he will have to pay more and Lesnar will get his title back.

Ricochet and Robert Roode stake their claim to win the Largest Battle Royal tonight before we get to the discussion regarding Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler match. We also glimpse from Kofi’s visit to his home country Ghana. Finn Balor vs Andrade is discussed next before Seth Rollins does an interview. He says that he is a fighting champion and will take care of Baron Corbin and then, will wait for the Beast.

Lars Sullivan’s debut is discussed next. Heavy Machinery duo, Otis and Tucker will also enter the Battle Royal. Next is the hype video package for Randy Orton vs Triple H match with some footage from Triple h-Batista match from WrestleMania. Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman’s heavyweight clash is being hyped now with a recap of last week’s Arm Wrestling match.

Last two months of Roman Reigns and Shane McMahon storyline are now being shown where Roman is getting beaten up again and again by ‘Best in the World’ and his goons. Finally, they come to the first match ever between the Undertaker and Goldberg! We get to see the complete career highlights for both Legends simultaneously with ‘When Legends Rise’ in the background.

Micheal Cole, Corey Graves and Renee Young welcomes us from Jeddah as Jimmy and Jey makes their entrance. The Revival duo enter and waste some more time and only 11 minutes are left for the Main to start as the match starts.

The Usos Beats The Revival – Tag Team Match

Dawson starts with a shoulder tackle before the Usos take control with double team maneuvers. They send both their opponents out of the ring and hits suicide dive on them. Jey starts to chop them at ringside before the action comes back to the ring. The Revival use the underhand tactics to take back the control.

They start to work on Jimmy taking turns. A headlock in slapped when Jimmy tries to power out. Dawson prevents the tag and puts him in the octopus stretch. Jimmy overpowers and Jey gets the hot tag. He hits back to back flying clotheslines before a superkick. A frog splash gets him a nearfall. Dawson comes back with an uppercut and Revival tries to hit their finisher.

Jey pushes Wilder off the top and hits the splash on Dawson to get a nearfall. They counter each other and Jey had Dawson in a pin for almost 10 counts but Wilder has distracted the referee. Revival tries to double team but Jey counters. Jimmy gets the bling tag and Dawson is sent out. Wilder is hit by double superkicks and is pinned. The Usos beat the Revival.

Main Show

The Pyro work over the packed stadium starts the show. The stage set is almost similar to the one at WrestleMania. And as it was spoiled earlier, Seth Rollins is opening the show to defend his Universal Title against Baron Corbin. Before Corbin enters, we once again get the recap of Brock Lesnar’s beatdown on Rollins. Rollins has his ribs taped up. Corbin enters in what I am assuming is a new theme. The Lion Face Emblem is definitely new. Corbin is once again getting his customized announcement and yes, he claims to be Jeddah’s favorite son. Rollins gets a great reception.

Seth Rollins(c) beats Baron Corbin in WWE Universal Championship Match

Seth is trying to protect his ribs even before the start. They lock in and Corbin takes Rollins to the corner. As referee call for the stalemate, Seth comes out with punches only for Corbin to punch him in the ribs. Seth avoids him in the corner but as he goes for the springboard, Corbin trips him to send his ribs into the ropes. Corbin drops him once more on the rope from suplex position and starts to work on the ribs and back.

Seth tries to fight back from the corner but Corbin dodges him and hits a clothesline. Corbin starts to shout on the ref for something before going for some kind of lock on Rollins’ ribs. He is continuously punching in the mid-section to continue pressure. He slams Rollins from a gutwrench position before Rollins counters to hit an enziguri. Seth mounts a flurry of punches and forearms before a lariat to send Corbin out of the ring. Back to back suicide dive follows.

Seth goes to the top where Corbin catches him in a chokeslam position but Rollins counters again to hit a superkick to get a nearfall. Corbin lures him into another suicide dive attempt which he thwarts and hits a twisting slam. Both counter each other once more, only for Corbin to hit deep six for another nearfall. End of days is avoided and Corbin suddenly decides to bring in the chair. As the referee tries to prevent him to use the chair, Corbin again starts to quarrel with him. This costs him the match as Rollins uses a roll-up pin to win the match. Seth Rollins beats Baron Corbin.

As Rollins starts to celebrate, Corbin hits him with the End of Days from behind. As Corbin leaves, Brock Lesnar enters with the briefcase and steel chair. He tries to cash in but Rollins hits him with a low blow. Rollins hits him chair multiple times before hitting the stomp on the Briefcase. Rollins leaves as Lesnar is checked upon by Heyman.

Andrade enters first for the next match before Finn Balor gets his Demon entrance.

Finn Balor(c) Defeated Andrade to retain WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

Andrade starts off strong with a few strikes before Balor knocks him down with a shoulder for a quick one count. Andrade hits a knee but Balor counters the Hammerlock DDT with a basement dropkick. Finn hits a standing double stomp. Andrade misses a knee and sends himself over the top rope. Balor follows and gets dropped onto the apron. Andrade drills him with a missile dropkick for a near fall. Andrade controls the match until Balor hits a dropkick.

They hit each other with clotheslines before Finn sends Andrade over the top rope and hits a suicide dive to take him down. Balor counters a tornado DDT and hits one of his own. He hits the 1916 before nailing a vicious back elbow and a backflip kick. He hits the running double knees in the corner for two. The Demon starts to fight back and counters a sunset flip powerbomb with a double stomp on the apron.

Balor hits the Coup de Grace to the back of Andrade’s head for a two count. Andrade hits a running pair of knees and his Hammerlock DDT to get a nearfall. Balor kicks out at two and the challenger looks worried. Andrade meets Balor on the top turnbuckle and Finn drops him with a DDT all the way down to the mat. He climbs back up and hits the Coup de Grace for the pin. Finn Balor beats Andrade.

Shane McMahon enter to the country where he won the first WWE World Cup. He asks for his special announcement as his World Cup trophy is also at the ringside. Drew McIntyre also enters to be in Shane’s corner before Roman enters and uses almost 50% of the pyro of the night.

Shane McMahon defeated Roman Reigns

Shane rushes to unload on Roman in the corner as soon as the match starts. He uses the ropes to his advantage until Roman decks him with a few hard right hands to turn the tables. Shane avoids him in the corner and his shoulder hits the ring post. Shane chokes Reigns right in front of the ref for the full five count. He gets a two count with a side Russian leg sweep. Roman builds momentum until McMahon connects with a back elbow. Shane wears Roman down with a headlock for a long time.

Roman hits a series of corner clotheslines and a big boot after breaking free. He lines up for the Superman Punch but Shane clips his knee in midair for a two count. Reigns counter a triangle choke with a powerbomb for his own near fall. McIntyre tries to interfere but Reigns sends him into the steel steps and hits a Superman Punch. Shane jumps off of the apron right into another Superman Punch. Shane hits a Spear when Reigns gets back in the ring for a close two count.

Roman hits another Superman Punch to knock Shane off of the top turnbuckle to score yet another near fall. Shane blocks a Spear with a kick to the face and the ref gets hit by mistake. McIntyre comes in and hits a Claymore while the ref is down. Shane makes the cover and the ref counts the pin. Shane McMahon beats Roman Reigns.

After the match, Drew carries Shane up the ramp. They stop on the ramp as fireworks go off around the stadium in Jeddah. Reigns watches from the ring as Shane and Drew celebrate.

Goldberg’s door is shown for a few seconds before Byron Saxton interviews WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to talk about Kofi’s match vs Dolph Ziggler.

Lars Sullivan vs Lucha House Party – Handicapped Match ended in a Disqualification

Kalisto starts off against Lars and avoids him for some time. Lars eventually corners him and hits a few shoulder thrusts. He drops Kalisto’s face on the top turnbuckle and throws him to the corner so he can tag Lince Dorado. Sullivan easily sends him out of the ring with one hand. Lars knocks Kalisto and Dorado off of the apron. Gran Metalik gets the tag and hits a few moves to put Lars off balance.

Kalisto comes back in and gets knocked out of the air with a body blow. Sullivan beats Kalisto down and climbs to the top turnbuckle. Dorado and Metalik trip him and the ref calls for the bell for a disqualification. They gang up on Sullivan and beat him into the mat. Each man takes turns hitting big moves on Sullivan.

As Lucha House Party try to make their way backstage, Lars Sullivan attacks them from behind, taking each member out on the metal ramp one by one.

After the lengthy hype video for the match, Randy Orton enters. Hunter enters on the same bike he used at WrestleMania 30 and with a skull mask on. NXT chants start as they are about to start.

Randy Orton Beats Triple H

Orton and Hunter take turns to take each other in the corner. Hunter uses the arm twist to take control but Orton is too good for it. He uses a takedown for a stalemate. Hunter once more goes for the arm twist and once more Orton counters it, this time in a headlock. The grappling continues and soon both men counter each other’s finisher attempt.

Orton hits the first strike with a solid right hand. He hits the post when Triple H moves out of the way. The Game goes right after the shoulder with his offense and brings Orton out of the ring. Hunter resumes to work on the arm but Orton decks him with a few punches. The action goes outside where Hunter slams Orton’s arm into the barricade and whatever he finds.

Orton drops him on the announce table out of nowhere and sends him to the steel steps. Back in the ring, he is keeping control. Hunter fights out with elbow in the midsection and then some punches. He even tries to chew Orton’s fingers but gets decked. Another headlock is slapped and it takes a long time before Triple H starts to make a comeback.

Hunter builds some momentum with his strikes off the ropes and brings Orton down with the spinebuster. He goes for the pedigree but could only get a clothesline and a nearfall. Another pedigree attempt is thwarted but Hunter also prevents the hanging DDT. Orton takes Hunter to the top. Hunter fights back and gets bodyslammed in the end.

Orton hits the hanging DDT and gets ready for the RKO. Hunter pushes him to the rope and hits the spinebuster on the rebound. He gets a couple of nearfalls before putting Orton in the crossface. It takes some time but Orton reaches to the ropes. Triple H locked in for a Pedigree, but Randy Orton hit him with a Back Body Drop, rolled through and hit an RKO for a near fall.

Orton goes for the penalty kick but Hunter catches him and hits the pedigree for another nearfall. The action moves out of the ring and Triple H drops Orton on the announce table with a side suplex 4 times. As they go back to the ring, Orton rolls through the pedigree and hits the RKO to get the pin and the win. Randy Orton beats Triple H.

A recap of R-Truth losing the 24/7 Championship at Airport Tarmac and then winning it back in the Aeroplane.

Baron Corbin comes to Byron Saxton and shouts on him, telling him that he lost the match due to the referee. He tells him to bring someone who can do something about it. Lashley enters while doing some body-building poses for his match. Braun Strowman returns to the same place where he won the Greatest Royal Rumble last year. He throws away the podium on which Lashley was earlier posing.

Braun Strowman beats Bobby Lashley

They lock down and each time nobody comes on top. Lashley goes for the shoulder tackles but could bring Strowman down even after multiple attempts. He then asks Strowman for a fist fight. They try to power each other before some high-speed action which ended with Strowman taking down Lashley with a shoulder tackle. As Strowman goes for the body splash, Lashley counters and hits the power slam to start a period of control.

Lashley keeps him at bay and locks in the chin. Strowman fights out and hits the spinebuster. A couple of shoulder tackles follows the body splash. Lashley goes out for a breather but gets run down with the running truck a couple of times. Back in the ring, Strowman keeps up with the strikes and gets a nearfall after a power slam. Nobody is home when Strowman goes for the spear. Lashley tackles him into the barricade and hits a suplex on the metal ramp.

Lashley goes to the top but Strowman tosses him across the ring. He hits a power slam and then a running power slam to get the win. Braun Strowman beats Bobby Lashley.

Kofi Kingston(c) vs Dolph Ziggler – WWE Championship Match

Ziggler starts with a headlock and takes down Kofi with a shoulder tackle. Kofi replies with a jumping back elbow and hits the flying forearm in the corner. Ziggler delivers a dropkick for a two count. Dolph slows the pace down a bit as he stomps Kofi into the corner. Kofi slams Ziggler into the turnbuckles.

They trades strikes before Kofi avoids the Zigzag and hits a series of moves- tackles, flying forearms, boom drop. He gets ready for the Trouble in Paradise but Ziggler goes to the apron and hits a shoulder block. Ziggler takes Kofi to the top but Kofi fights out and hits the crossbody splash. Ziggler rolls the splash to get a nearfall.

Kofi counters another pin attempt to hit SOS to get a nearfall. Ziggler goes outside and Kofi jumps on him from the top turnbuckle. Ziggler slams Kofi to the steel steps and hits a superkick on Woods when he comes to check on him. Back in the ring, both men miss their finishers. As Ziggler goes to the ropes, Woods hits an overhead kick on him before Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise for the pin to retain his title. Kofi Kingston beats Dolph Ziggler.

Backstage, Ziggler talks to Byron Saxton. Ziggler called Kofi a coward and asked for a rematch in a Steel Cage match.

Miz, Samoa Joe, Cesaro and Titus O’ Niel gets the entrance as all the other stars just walk to the ring. Elias enters with the acoustic guitar and starts performing before the match. He insults all the other stars in the ring and tells them they could not eliminate him.

50 Man Battle Royal

Miz hits him and takes him to the ring to start the match. Singh Brothers are the first to be eliminated. Anderson is tossed out followed by Eric Young. Heath Slater works on Xavier Woods while Otis and Cesaro are going after each other. Slater, Curt Axel, Akira Tozawa, Mojo Rawley, No Way Jose and Brain Kendrick are all eliminated one by one. The Authors of Pain, The Viking Raiders and Heavy Machinery start fighting among themselves. AOP throws Tucker out to eliminate him. The Vikings Raiders eliminate Akam. Rezar was thrown out next.

Titus O’Neil eliminated the Viking Raiders, but was then eliminated by Shelton Benjamin. Matt Hardy eliminates Shelton Benjamin with a Twist of Fate. Samoa Joe eliminates both Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. Ricochet catapults Jinder Mahal out of the ring with an immense move. Rowan took out Xavier Woods and Otis Dozovich. He was then thrown out by the Usos. The Revival threw out the Usos. Dawson is eliminated by Matt Hardy, who is eliminated by Cesaro.

Cesaro hits Cedric with the Giant Swing and then catapults Cedric out. The Miz takes control of the ring with the It Kicks to Cesaro and Elias. Unfortunately, the double team of Cesaro and Elias means he is dumped out. The last six men, Ricochet, Ali and Mansoor face Cesaro, Samoa Joe and Elias. Samoa Joe tries to throw out Ricochet, but Ali and Ricochet double team suplex Joe out of the ring. Ali and Ricochet are dumped out by Cesaro, who is eliminated by Mansoor. Elias looks to eliminate Mansoor but he hangs on. Mansoor back body drops Mansoor over his shoulders out of the ring. Mansoor won the 50-Man Battle Royal.

After the match, the crowd goes wild for the local star. He jumps into the crowd to celebrate with the fans. Ali comes to the barricade to congratulate Mansoor. Mansoor gets interviewed by Byron Saxton in the ring. He talks about how big the win is for him and for his country.

We are in the hype video package for the main event match. Goldberg’s music hits and the crowd starts singing his name. Music goes on for a long time before Goldberg’s door is knocked. He enters and the crowd is still singing his name. Hooded men come at the stage with the ‘Mashals’ in their hands to prepare for Undertaker’s entrance and cross over the stage. The gong hits and Taker rises from beneath the stage. He completes his entrance slowly and reaches the ring as their names are announced.

The Undertaker beats Goldberg

Bell rings and they stand face to face in the middle of the ring. Goldberg does the rest in peace sign which prompts Taker to take a jab at him. Goldberg hits a spear off the ropes and then a second one but could only get a nearfall. Taker gets up and goes for the chokeslam but Goldberg grabs his leg for a submission move. Taker side-steps Goldberg as he goes for another spear. Goldberg is bursted open and there is so much blood on Goldberg’s face.

Taker starts striking him and does the old school. He gets ready for the chokeslam but Goldberg is having problem standing up. He finally comes around and the taker hits the chokeslam and then the tombstone piledriver. 1. 2. …and Goldberg kicks out. Taker starts striking again but both men are now down after a double lariat. They start trading strikes. Taker gets the upper hand and takes Goldberg to the corner and hits the lariat. He was coming for the big boot but Goldberg spears him. Goldberg somehow hits a feeble jackhammer and could only get a near fall. He tries to hit the piledriver on Taker but Taker counters and hits the chokeslam to get the pin. Undertaker Beats Goldberg.

The show ends with The Undertaker celebrating his victory.
