Tyson Fury Teased WWE Return After Announcing Retirement
Tyson Fury defeated Dillian Whyte this Saturday and after the fight, he officially announced his retirement from professional boxing, and at the same time, he teased his WWE return as well.
In the post-fight interview, Tyson Fury confirmed his bout against Whyte was his last one. Fury stated he fulfilled everything he wanted, and now it is time for him to retire as the best. He became the second heavyweight after Rocky Marciano retired undefeated from professional boxing.
Not only that, but during the post-fight interview, Fury also stated that we might see him fighting at SummerSlam 2022. He got to speak to Vince McMahon to make this happen but he is not ruling out the possibility.
Tyson Fury also talked about Drew McIntyre and stated he had to knock him out as he has been talking a lot of things about him. Fury expressed his desire to be at WWE UK PPV as well which will take place later this year.
Tyson Fury revealed he really enjoyed his last WWE run where he wrestlers Braun Strauman in Saudi Arabia. After that, he assured everyone to make contact with the company to make his return to WWE at SummerSlam a reality.
WWE SummerSlam 2022 is all set to take place on July 30, 2022, at Nissan Stadium. Now, it remains to be seen whether The Gypsy King will be a part of this event or not.
