Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal Boxing Bout Set in LA on June 1
Former UFC Welterweights Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal are set for a rematch in a boxing ring this Summer.
Diaz and Masvidal are set to clash on June 1, 2024, at Kia Forum in Inglewood near Los Angeles, CA. The bout will play out at light heavyweight in boxing at 175 lbs over 10 3-minute rounds. The bout will headlined a PPV event which will air on Fanmio streaming.
The price for the event is set at $79.99. However, if you pre-order until April 12, you can purchase the PPV at $30 discount at $49.99.
The duo fought in MMA to headline UFC 244 at Madison Square Garden in November 2019. The fight was the inaugural UFC BMF title. Masvidal won the fight after it was stopped after the third round due to lacerations on Diaz.
Post his departure from UFC in September 2022, Diaz has featured in his debut boxing bout. He lost the bout to Jake Paul in 185 lbs catchweight bout via unanimous decision.
Masvidal has yet to fight after retiring from MMA at UFC 287 in Miami, FL, where he lost to Gilbert Burns. He is active as a promoter, though, with his Gamebred Boxing and Gamebred MMA events.
