AEW Continental Classic 2024 Results, Schedule, Points Table

AEW Continental Classic 2024 is the second edition of the Continental Classic tournament. The winner of the tournament would have become the AEW Continental Championship. Kazuchika Okada, the reigning Continental Champion, was also part of the tournament along with 11 other participants. He managed to retain the title by winning the tournament. Format & Schedule

AEW Continental Classic 2024 tournament was divided into three phases – the league phase, the semifinals, and the final. In the league phase, 12 wrestlers were divided into two groups of 6 participants each – Gold League and Blue League. Blue League featured Kazuchika Okada, The Beast Mortos, Daniel Garcia, Shelton Benjamin, Mark Briscoe & Kyle Fletcher. Gold League featured Claudio Castagnoli, Darby Allin, Brody King, Juice Robinson, Will Ospreay & Ricochet. Juice Robinson was replaced by Komander in the Gold League after Robinson got injured on November 30 Collision episode.

The league phase started on the November 27, 2024 episode of Dynamite, where all 6 participants compete in 5 matches, facing other wrestlers from their group in a round-robin format. The league phase ended on December 25 episode of Dynamite. The semifinals and the final of Continental Classic took place at Worlds End PPV on December 28, 2024. Semifinal pit the winner of one group to the runner up of the other groups.
