WWE SmackDown July 21: Roman Reigns & US Title Invitational Match Announced

WWE has announced the United States Title Invitational match for July 21, 2023 episode of SmackDown, as well as a segment between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso.
A United States Championship Invitational Tournament started on July 14 episode of SmackDown. The first Fatal 4-way match saw AJ Styles, Santos Escobar, Grayson Waller and Butch in action. Escobar managed to win this match by pinning Grayson Waller.
Later in the show, Rey Mysterio, Sheamus, Cameron Grimes, and LA Knight were announced to be part of the second US title invitational match which is scheduled for next week’s SmackDown. The winner of this match will face Escobar on July 28 SmackDown episode to become #1 contender for United States Championship.

One segment is also announced for the July 21 episode of SmackDown, where Roman Reigns will discuss Rules of Engagement with Jey Uso. During the July 14 SmackDown, Jey Uso was involved in an argument with Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa which eventually escalated into a brawl between Jey Uso and Sikoa, Jey Uso even delivered a super kick to Paul Heyman during the altercation.
Jey Uso is also waiting for Reign’s reply after he challenged Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed championship on the July 7 episode of SmackDownn. It will be very interesting to see how Reigns addresses this clash when appears on July 21 SmackDown episode.
The July 21 episode of SmackDown will be not live on the FOX network, but it will be broadcasted on FS1. The schedule is changed because Fox Network will telecast FIFA Women’s World Cup at 9 PM ET that night. The episode will be live from Amway Center in Orlando, FL, US.
