According to Fightful Select, there has been a recent emphasis on the NXT viewership numbers on Tuesday nights. This emphasis is a significant factor behind the recent appearances of main roster stars on the show.

Notably, WWE has reported to be extremely “ecstatic” about the impressive viewership figures generated by the Becky Lynch vs Tiffany Stratton match on the September 12 episode of the show, which resulted in Lynch winning the title.

The episode marked NXT’s highest viewership in three years. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful also reported WWE is striving to boost the Tuesday night viewership of NXT by featuring notable talents such as Becky Lynch. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing their bargaining power in future negotiations.

At NXT No Mercy 2023, we witnessed two significant title changes. Trick Williams managed to defeat Dominik, securing the NXT North American title, while Ilja Dragunov successfully dethroned Carmelo Hayes to become the new NXT Champion.
