Cody Rhodes Challenges Brock Lesnar for WWE SummerSlam 2023
Cody Rhodes challenged Brock Lesnar for a Rubber match at the SummerSlam PPV event.
During the July 3 episode of RAW, Brock Lesnar made his return to RAW while Cody was talking with Seth Rollins. Both superstars collided with each other, leading to Rhodes delivering Cody Cutter to Lesnar, which made Lesnar run out of the ring.
During the July 10 episode of RAW, Cody Rhodes had a message for Lesnar. He mentioned that he wanted to finish the story that Lesnar has started for no reason, and then he challenged him for a rubber match for the SummerSlam 2023 event. As Lesnar was not present in the arena, we are still to hear a response to the challenge.

Rhodes and Lesnar’s rivalry currently stands at a draw. Rhodes defeated Lesnar at the Backlash PLE event whereas Lesnar defeated Rhodes at Night of Champions event.
The rivalry between Lesnar and Rhodes started on RAW After WrestleMania episode when Brock attacked Cody after teasing to be his tag team partner in a match against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. After that, they got involved in several brawls leading to a match at Backlash.
The loss at Backlash upset Lesnar, and he attacked Cody once again during his match in World Heavyweight Championship tournament. Lesnar ended up fracturing Cody’s arm in the lead-up to Night of Champions. After Lesnar got the win at Night of Champions, Cody put out an open challenge for him to face him at any event.
The SummerSlam 2023 PLE is scheduled for August 5 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. No matches have been announced for the event so far. Cody vs Brock is likely to be confirmed when Lesnar arrives to RAW next week. Keep tuned in for the updates.
