Malakai Black is currently dealing with a calf tear and a hyperextended knee injuries.
Malakai Black recently shared a social media post with an update regarding his injury. In an Instagram Stories update, Malakai Black revealed a slight calf tear and a hyperextended knee while dispelling rumors of a recurring back injury.
Black’s video on rehabilitating a back injury led to misconceptions about a persistent problem. These rumors have recently resurfaced, but they lack any basis in truth.
Black also addressed the same in his Instagram story and made it clear that he does not have back issues currently. He also dispelled the rumors that AEW is protecting his injury with trios matches and not booking him in singles matches.
Malakai Black has been out of action since AEW All In 2023, where his faction, the House of Black, lost the AEW Trios title to The Acclaimed.
Black made his AEW debut in July 2021, following his stint with WWE since 2016. In the House of Black faction alongside Buddy Matthews and Brody King, they captured the AEW World Trios titles at Revolution this year by defeating The Elite.
