Speculation on Edge’s AEW Move, WWE Contract Ends September 30
The rumors are continuing that Edge may make his move to AEW.
Dave Meltzer on WOR reported about Edge’s comeback and also mentioned there were individuals within WWE who believed that he might make the move to AEW.
It is now suggested by several reports that his WWE contract ends this Saturday September 30. PWInsider reported that Edge was removed from the Miscellaneous list of WWE’s internal roster.

His #WWE contract is up on Saturday, which means he'd be able to show up at #AEWWrestleDream on Sunday.

The rumors suggest that Edge might make an appearance at AEW WrestleDream 2023 PPV event. Fans on the internet are speculating that Edge might become involved in Christian Cage’s two-out-of-three falls match against Darby Allin for AEW TNT Championship due to his history with Christian.
Edge’s association with WWE is from 1996. Over the course of his entire WWE run, Edge won the World title a total of 11 times. Additionally, he won the Intercontinental Championship(7 times) and the United States Championship along with being a tag team champion 14 times.
Edge also won Royal Rumble match twice while he was also the inaugural Money in the Bank winner. His last WWE match was at August 18 episode of SmackDown where he defeated Sheamus the match took place in Edge’s hometown of Toronto. After the match, Edge said in an off the air promo that it was his last match in Toronto.
Previously, Edge said in a video posted on social media that he has a contract from WWE sitting in his inbox, but he has not made a decision yet.
