Edge Clears Up WWE Rumors, Says Contract Sitting In His Inbox
Edge has clarified the rumors surrounding him and his connection with WWE.
Previously, Edge acknowledged that his recent fight against Sheamus on the August 18 episode of SmackDown was his last fight, but he also mentioned that his contract is going to end in September.
A report on Wednesday indicated that WWE chose not to fulfill Edge’s demands for a new contract, and that there was a feeling inside WWE that he was AEW bound. But in a Twitter video, Edge made things clear.

In a video posted on Twitter, Edge discussed his relationship with WWE, noting that he holds no grudges. He also revealed that WWE had reached out to him with a contract extension offer, which is in his inbox.
Edge also mentioned that the fight with Sheamus in front of the Toronto audience was a special night for him, and he does not believe anything can top that. He also added that having fun at this stage and raising his kids are the two most important things in his life.
After his fight against Sheamus on August 18 SmackDown, Edge said in a post-show promo he did not know what his future holds, but he mentioned that it was his last fight in Toronto.
