Brock Lesnar will face Omos at WWE WrestleMania 39. Known as The Nigerian Giant, Omos weighs at 410 lbs and stands at 7 foot 3 inches tall. His real name is Jordan Omogbehin. To know more about him, check this link.
Omos’ WWE Journey So Far
Omos started his WWE career with NXT in 2019, but appeared in a handful of matches on the house shows. He was part of Ninja gang at Backlash 2020 which targetted The Viking Raiders and The Street Profits alongside Akira Tozawa. But, Omos was masked during this appearance.
His actual main roster debut came alongside AJ Styles, who introduced him as his new tag team partner as he challenged New Day at WrestleMania 37. Omos won WWE RAW Tag Team Championship in his main roster match at WrestleMania 37. Styles and Omos held onto the title until being dethroned by Riddle and Randy Orton at SummerSlam 2021.
At WrestleMania 38, Omos was part of a big showdown against Bobby Lashley, but failed to beat him. Although this match started a feud with Lashley and his alliance with MVP, which continues until now.
Brock Lesnar vs Omos Storyline
The storyline between Brock Lesnar and Omos started due to MVP’s history with Bobby Lashley. Lesnar chose to get disqualified than taping out to Lashley at Elimination Chamber 2023 match when Lashley had him locked in the Hurt Lock. MVP was not happy at how Lesnar chose the easy way out. He challenged Brock to face Omos at WrestleMania 39.
Lesnar appeared on The VIP Lounge segment in early March to accept the challenge and went on to drop MVP with an F5. Omos threw Lesnar out of the ring in their show at March 13 RAW episode. They are set for weigh-in segment at WWE RAW episode of March 27, 2023.
