Jeff Hardy vs Sheamus

Sheamus brings down Hardy right away and unloads on him. Hardy puts him a waist lock and then in a headlock while Sheamus tries hard to get out. Sheamus unloads in the corner before Hardy trips him with a basement dropkick. Hardy with a clothesline in the corner. He uses the ropes to his advantage until the referee warns him. Sheamus turns him inside out with a clothesline now. Hardy backdrops him to the apron and then sends him to the floor. He tackles Sheamus on the floor before taking him back to the ring.

Sheamus takes control in the ring. He drops Hardy over the turnbuckle with a front suplex. He drops Hardy in the middle of the ring now. Hardy has hurt his leg and is struggling to get up. Sheamus with a few Irish backbreakers to get a two-count. He puts Hardy in a chinlock now. Hardy hits a few elbows and a headbutt to get out of it but Sheamus hits him with a running knee strike to get another two-count.

Hardy with more elbows when Sheamus puts in another chinlock. He slams Sheamus in the corner and hits a side suplex for a two count of his own. Hardy with a twisted moonsault as he tries to build momentum. He keeps control for the next minute. Sheamus counters the Twist of Fate with a roll-up for two-count. Hardy ducks the Brogue kick and takes Sheamus down with a sling blade for another two-count. Hardy goes to the top and Sheamus trips him. Sheamus hits the White Noise to get a near fall now.

Sheamus looks frustrated now. He hits a few kicks on Jeff’s chest before putting him in the cloverleaf submission. Hardy reaches the ropes to break the hold. Sheamus hits a few kicks now as he keeps Hardy grounded for the next minute. Hardy counters by slamming him in the corner before hitting the Twist of Fate. He quickly follows it with the Swanton bomb but Sheamus gets his legs on the ropes to break the pin. Sheamus moves out for a breather. Hardy follows him and jumps on him from a barricade. Sheamus counters him with a big boot and quickly takes him into the ring to hit the Brogue kick to get the win.

Winner – Sheamus

Kayla is backstage with The Miz and John Morrison. She reveals that if one of them pins WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman tonight then that person becomes champion, instead of co-champions. They look surprised. Otis and Mandy Rose appear and Otis teases them about cashing in if they win tonight.

Asuka(c) vs Nia Jax – WWE RAW Women’s Championship Match

Asuka ducks a charge and hits a few kicks to start. Nia tries to use her power to take but Asuka is too fast for her to get anything done. Asuka is countering every move and has put Nia in an octopus stretch. Nia gets out of the move and runs over Asuka with a clothesline. Asuka tries to put her in the armbar and Nia replies by throwing her across the ring. She tosses Asuka a couple of more times to get a two-count.

Its all Nia at the moment. She gets another two-count after slamming Asuka in the middle of the ring. Asuka counters a headlock in a choke. Nia had to powerup and slam her into the mat to break the hold. Asuka with elbows and kicks now. She tries to flip Nia but thats too much for her.

Asuka hits a missile dropkick and a hip attack to get another two-count now. A series of kicks from Asuka until Nia picks her up to hit a powerbomb to get a two-count. Asuka gets up in the corner and avoids the tackle from Nia. Asuka gets up on the turnbuckle. Nia fights her there and Asuka manages to get her down outside the ring. Asuka puts her in the Asuka lock on the floor as the referee starts to count down.

Nia manages to use her power and slams Asuka into the barricade. But Asuka still holds onto her arms. Asuka manages to get free and gets into the ring but she is late. The referee has counted down to 10 and calls for the countout.

Result – Double Countout(Asuka Retains the title)

Asuka looks confused for a while until it is announced that she retains the title. Nia is still on the floor and is angry. Asuka hits a missile dropkick on the floor before she leaves to the back.

MVP is backstage on the phone and is ordering champagne to celebrate Lashley winning the WWE Title later. Lana walks up and MVP hangs up the call. Lana says she is responsible for some of Lashley’s success and wants to be at ringside with him. MVP tells her that he didn’t make the decision and isn’t the one who she should be having this talk with. He says but she won’t because she doesn’t want to hear him tell it.

Braun Strowman(c) vs The Miz & John Morrison – 2-on-1 Handicapped Match for WWE Universal Championship

We get a promo for this match. The Miz and John Morrison make their entrance and start to hype their new single, “Hey Hey Ho Ho,” which was released a few days back. The song starts on the LED screen at the entrance while Miz and Morrison dance on it in the ring. Strowman’s entrance cuts short the song.

The Miz starts against Strowman. Miz quickly tags out and distracts Strowman so that Morrison could take advantage. The team work continues from the former tag team champs with more quick tags. Strowman hits a big punch to get control. Morrison tags in Miz and he uses the ropes and then unloads on Strowman in the ring with a few punches and a big boot. Miz goes to tag in Morrison but he was down on the floor. Strowman throws Miz in the corner and Morrison tags in this time. They manage to get Strowman to the floor and Morrison hits a plancha on him.

The Miz tries to put Strowman in a choke but he powers up and slams Miz into the corner. Morrison tags in and hits a chop block while Strowman is looking the other way. Morrison keeps up with the strikes before tagging Miz back. Miz with the it kicks now. Strowman comes back with a punch and starts to demolish the Miz. He decks Morrison off the apron. He tosses Miz across the ring now. More quick tags and Miz & Morrison hits the Skull Crushing Finale/stomp combo.

Morrison covers Strowman but The Miz breaks the pin since only Morrison would have become the champion. Miz and Morrison stare at each other for a while before trying for the pin once again. Strowman gets up and hits a chokeslam on the Miz. Morrison jumps from the ropes and Strowman catches him with an uppercut. Strowman hits the running power slam on Morrison to get the pin.

Winner – Braun Strowman(retains WWE Universal Championship)

We see the replay of AJ Styles winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship. He joins Kayla Braxton for an interview now and announces a title presentation on SmackDown next Friday. He invites all the superstars to be there for the presentation, even Daniel Bryan.

Drew McIntyre(c) vs Bobby Lashley – WWE Championship Match

Bobby Lashley comes out first with MVP. WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is comes out next. MVP distracts Drew before the bell and Lashley suddenly puts him in the Full Nelson. The referee asks him to leave McIntyre since the bell has not rung yet. More referees come out and separate them. McIntyre tells the referee he’s ready to go but he’s hurting.

The bell rings and Lashley goes right to work on him. Drew is still wearing his ring jacket as Lashley beats him around. Lashley with a big suplex for a quick pin attempt only for a one-count. Lana is seen watching the match from backstage. Lashley keeps control until Drew connects with a big knee to the gut. Drew with chops but Lashley levels him with ease. Lashley with another quick pin attempt, and another out of frustration. Lashley keeps Drew down by his arm now, working on it. Lashley finally yanks Drew’s jacket off and drives knees into the back before grounding him again to boos.

Lashley slams him on the announce table and then slams him into the ringpost. McIntyre is selling a rib injury now. Lashley takes him into the ring but McIntyre rolls out again. Lashley charges at him and McIntyre counters with a belly to belly suplex, sending Lashley into the barricade. McIntyre takes Lashley back to the ring. He starts to build the momentum with a few kicks, punches and a big boot. McIntyre with a clothesline from the top turnbuckle to get a two-count.

McIntyre takes Lashley to his shoulders but Lashley counters. He hits a chokeslam backbreaker in the middle fo the ring. Lashley sends McIntyre into the ringpost and hits the flatliner to get a near fall. MVP instructs Lashley to get McIntyre into the full nelson. Lashley goes for it but McIntyre prevents to close the hold. Lashley tries to work him over in the corner until McIntyre hits him with the Alabama Slam.

McIntyre goes for the clothesline from the top but Lashley counters and puts him in the crossface. McIntyre powers up and goes for the tombstone piledriver. Lashley slips out and puts on the toehold. McIntyre counters it now into the kimura lock. Lashley has to get to the ropes to break the hold. McIntyre hits the superplex and both men are down now. McIntyre is the first to get up and count downs for Claymore. But Lashley catches him with the spear instead to get a near fall.

Lashley could not believe it. Lana comes out now. MVP tries to stop her but she gets on the apron. Lashley tells him something and the distraction allows McIntyre to hit the Glasgow kiss. The headbutt pushes Lashley into Lana, who then drops on MVP. McIntyre hits the Claymore kick to get the pin and the win to retain the title.

Winner – Drew McIntyre(retains WWE Championship)

After the bell, Drew gets up a bit gingerly. Lana is still down at the ringside while Lashley is down in the ring. MVP stares her at Lana as Lashley goes joins him on the way back. Drew poses in the corner with his title.

The Viking Raiders & Street Profits Cinematic Brawl

The camera cuts to the outside of the performance center where The Viking Raiders and The Street Profits are brawling. They run into Braun Strowman’s car and damage its windshield. All four of them stop in fear and then retreat inside. Their brawl continues and Street Profits take out golf clubs. Erik pulls out his shields and ax while Ivar gets a bowling ball. Then they agree on fighting like men in the ring. But The Street Profits start brawl again. Dawkins and Erik take their fight outside. Ivar picks up a bowling ball and he goes into a flashback from their bowling competition. He bowls right between Ford’s legs and Ford is in pain.

Ivar goes to finds Erik and he is down outside. Dawkins tackles Ivar through a glass door. Ivar has a flashback of eating turkey legs while he is laying in the debris. Erik and Ford discuss how quickly everything has escalated. All four of them drag to the parking lot but encounter a group of people on motorcycles. One of them approaches the teams. It turns out to be Akira Tozawa who takes down his helmet and starts shouting in Japanese. The subtitles say, “Anything you can do, we can do better.” He tosses his helmet at Ivar who throws it away. Both teams get in a huddle and decide to take on the ninjas.

They stand together and the screen flashes a logo terming them as The Viking Profits. Tozawa and the ninjas attack The Viking Profits. Some comedy follows as Viking Profits take them down one by one. These are mostly comedy takedowns. Tozawa calls for a very large man for backup. Both teams are terrified and climb to the top of an 18 wheeler truck. Ivar is out of breath and is left behind. He catches up later and both teams start to argue. They start fighting again on top of the truck. Dawkins and Erik go over the side. Ivar also shoves Ford and they land in the dumpster with Dawkins and Erik.

Ivar goes into another flashback from all the challenges in the recent weeks and the women telling Ivar he’s cute but not Erik. WWE female referee appears on a ladder next to the dumpster and tells them to get in the ring for their match. She also says Ivar is cute but not Erik. There’s something alive under the trash bags now and all four of them start scrambling to get out of the dumpster. It seems like a dragon tail. We go to a break as the segment ends.

The commentary team tells us that The Viking Raiders vs Street Profits match will not take place because of what happened in the segment.

Edge vs Randy Orton

We cut to the commentary team and they tell us that The Viking Raiders vs Street Profits match will now take place tonight. We cut to the promo for Edge vs Randy Orton match. Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. Edge comes out to a huge response from the crowd. The announcement gets done in a retro style with the mic hanging down in the middle of the ring. The label on the mic reads MSG. The referee is also in a white shirt, just like they use to be in the 80s.

They circle the ring before locking up. Both men continue to be in the lockup for a while. Orton slams Edge’s face into the mat to get the first blood. They circle again before lock-up. Orton with a tackle now before Edge hits a couple of deep arm drags. Orton counters the third one to slam Edge into the mat. Edge puts Orton in a chin lock as they start again. Orton counters by choking Edge using his legs. Edge comes out of the lock and they start again. Edge is seen doubting himself.

They run the ropes and Orton manages to trip Edge and Edge slips out of the ring. Edge pulls his thoughts together outside the ring. They lock up again and Edge whips Orton to the corner. Orton slips out of the ring and they do a game of cat and mouse for a while. Edge manages to boot Orton to the floor. Back in the ring, Orton with an uppercut. They run the ropes again until Edge hits another arm drag. Edge puts Orton into an armbar now. They get back to their feet. Orton tries to power slam Edge but Edge continues to hold onto the armbar. Orton slides into a waist lock. Edge pulls Orton down to the floor as the NXT crowd gets behind him.

Edge puts on a headlock now. Orton takes him to the corner and stomps on his feet. He whips Edge to the other corner and Edge manages to send him out with head scissors. Edge goes to the top turnbuckle and Orton trips him from there. Orton with a few punches and tries to hit a superplex. Edge fights back and a couple of headbutts does the trick for him. Edge hits a clothesline from the top while Orton was still on the apron. Orton is bleeding near the right eye now.

They are back in the ring now. Edge with a few strikes and then a knee into the gut. He hits a Russian leg sweep and quickly puts Orton into the crossface. Orton reaches the ropes to break it. Orton goes for the RKO but Edge was quick to avoid it. Edge tries to put him in the triangle choke but Orton gets to the ropes immediately. Orton hits a backbreaker and Edge has hurt his neck. Edge moves out of the ring and Orton rains hell on him by throwing him into everything at the ringside.

Orton breaks the referee’s count and then continues to punish Edge on the floor. He slams Edge into the steel steps a few times and then into the announce table before finally taking him back into the ring. Orton covers but Edge kicks out after two. Orton stomps on his hands now for a few times. Orton puts on a headlock now. Edge takes his time to come out of it but Orton slams him into the turnbuckle.

Orton goes for the three amigos but Edge blocks the third one. Instead, its Edge who hits the three suplexes. Both men are down in the ring now. They continue to punch each other while still down. Back on their feet, trade of strikes still continues. Edge takes Orton to the corner for some chops. Orton slams him down to the mat. Edge moves out of the ring for a breather. Orton pulls him into the ring post and his chest gets slammed.

Randy pulls him to the top turnbuckle for the superplex and hits it this time. Both men are down. Orton covers but Edge kicks out two and a half. Randy picks him up and whips to the ropes. Both men tangle in the crossbody and are down now. The referee starts to count down and both get up at 8. Edge gets better of a charging Orton in the corner. Edge goes to the top turnbuckle now. Randy tries to hit the hanging DDT from there but Edge counters and hits a DDT of his own. Edge takes some time to get into the cover and Orton kicks out.

Edge with a couple of running knee strike right into the face of Orton for a near fall. Edge goes to the top to hit a crossbody for another near fall. Edge charges into the corner but Orton steps aside to roll him up for a two-count. Edge manages to get him in the crossface again. Randy uses his power to counter it into the Olympic slam. Edge comes up with the pop-up powerbomb from the ropes to get a near fall. Both men look drained of energy.

Edge charges and Orton backdrops him out to the floor. Edge comes back and Orton hits his signature rope hang DDT. Orton gest ready for the RKO now. Edge counters and bulldogs him into the mat. He almost manages a three-count as Orton was shocked by the move. Edge gets ready for the spear now. Orton avoids it and Edge avoids the RKO but manages to drive Orton to the mat for another near fall. Orton drops his opponent on the ropes now. Orton hits the pedigree now but Edge still kicks out. Edge now surprises Orton with a Rockbottom. Edge tries to get for the sharpshooter now but Orton kicks him away. Edge manages to slide him into a backslide but Orton kicks out and hits a European uppercut.

Orton goes for the rope hung DDT again but Edge slips out and tries out a few different pinning combinations. Orton catches him with an RKO. Randy covers but Edge kicks out somehow. Randy is on his feet now and the referee checks on Edge. The Viper was looking for the punt kick but Edge catches him with a spear. He hits another one immediately but Orton still kicks out. The match has crossed 40 minutes mark at this point.

Edge waits for Orton to get up and is pondering over his next move. Orton whips him to the corner and catches him with another RKO. Edge still kicks out of the pin. Edge tries to put Orton in the triangle choke now but Orton stomps on his feet and then hits the punt kick to get the pin. That punt kick has caught Edge off gaurd.

Winner- Randy Orton
