Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn Set for WWE Elimination Chamber 2023
Roman Reigns has set up a showdown against Sami Zayn at WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 event with Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line.
As one of the hottest storyline in years took a big turn at Royal Rumble 2023, Sami Zayn turned on Roman Reigns when he decided not to attack his former best friend Kevin Owens.
Sami hit Roman with a steel chair instead of going after Owens. This was followed by Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa beating up Sami while Jey Uso could not bring himself to attack Sami. Jey later posted a cryptic message on Instagram that he is out.
Jey was not at SmackDown this week with The Bloodline. Roman Reigns cut a promo in the final segment of the night and discussed how he saw greed in Sami’s eyes and Sami used him, the Bloodline and The Island of Relevancy.
Sami came through the crowd to attack Roman and was able to hit him with a spear. When Roman escaped the ring, Sami said that he never used Roman but now, he wants the Universal Championship from him.
Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa attacked Sami and took him. Roman then told Sami that he has broken the Bloodline and Roman will now break him in front of his own people in Montreal at Elimination Chamber.
WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 will take place at Bell Center in Montreal, Canada, on February 18, 2023. Two Elimination Chamber matches are also set for the show.
