Noche UFC: Natan Levy Out, Charlie Campbell Debuts vs Alex Reyes
Alex Reyes’ return to octagon after 6 years has undergone another change as he is now set to face a promotional debutant.
Noche UFC card will see another change as Reyes’ original opponent Natan Levy has now pulled out of the show. Eurosport’s Marcel Dorff provided the breaking news about Levy’s withdrawal.
Dorff also informed via Twitter that New York’s Charlie Campbell has signed with UFC to make his debut against Alex Reyes now. The bout is expected to be lightweight bout itself with just one week left for the event.

Campbell appeared in Dana White Contender Series 2022 season where he lost to Chris Duncan via first round knockout. He has since returned to CFFC to beat Josh Streacker at CFFC 120 event in June this year. The loss against Duncan was just his second loss in pro MMA career so far, which also has 7 wins.
Alex Reyes is trying to return to MMA after fighting osteomyelitis bone infection. His only UFC fight so far came in 2017 when he lost to Mike Perry. Reyes was booked against Trevor Peek at UFC Vegas 70 earlier this year, but he had to withdraw from that fight due to another injury.
Noche UFC is set to take place on September 16 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, as UFC celebrates Mexican Independence Day. Mexico’s Alexa Grasso will headline the event to defend UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship against Valentina Shevchenko.
The card has seen several fights being scrapped from the show. Iasmin Lucindo pulled out of her bout against Josefine Knutsson just yesterday. Santiago Ponznibbio also informed on Instagram earlier today that he will not complete on the card. Kevin Gastelum also pulled out of the co-main event where he was scheduled to fight Shavkat Rakhmonov.
Anthony Hernandez’s cancelled bouts against Chris Curtis and Roman Kopylov, and a bunch of changes in women’s strawweight bouts also took place on the card due to injury crisis.
