At separate events, Levy encountered a series of back-to-back canceled bouts against Pete Rodriguez, first at UFC Vegas 72, where Rodriguez withdrew due to injury. The second was at UFC on ABC 4, where Rodriguez botched his weight cut.

He was supposed to face Trevor Peek at UFC Vegas 70 event on February 25, 2023. However, Reyes had to withdraw from the fight due to another injury.
