CFFC returned to action with CFFC 120: Ndregjoni vs Araujo on June 16, 2023, from Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

CFFC Bantamweight title bout was the headliner but Vilson Ndregjoni was stripped off the title after missing the weight by 0.8 lbs. The title was still on the line for Wendel Araujo in the main event. Araujo made his CFFC debut with this bout. Ndregjoni won his last two bouts in CFFC. He won the vacant bantamweight title in his last bout by beating Ashiek Ajim at CFFC 118.

Kyle Daukaus returned to CFFC after being released from UFC earlier this year. He faced promotional debutant Robert Gidron.
