Alex Reyes Returns to Face Trevor Peek at UFC Vegas 70
According to the latest reports, Alex Reyes will collide against Trevor Peek in a lightweight bout at UFC Vegas 70 event on February 25, 2023.
The bout was first reported by Nolan King of the MMA Junkie, which was later confirmed by several other sources as well.
Alex Reyes had his last match back in 2017. Five years ago, doctors even stated that Reyes might not be able to walk again. However, the sheer determination of Alex Reyes brings him back into the octagon. He lost his last match against Mike Perry via KO.
On the other hand, Trevor Peek will make his UFC debut against the returning Reyes. Peek earned his UFC contract by defeating Malik Lewis at the Dana White Contender Series.
February 25 will be a big day for both these fighters as one will make his UFC debut, and one will finally make his return after a career-ending injury.
