The American Dragon, Bryan Danielson, has made his return, and he is set for a one-on-one Strap match against Ricky Starks at the AEW All Out 2023 PPV event.

During the September 2 episode of AEW Collison, Ricky Starks was set to challenge “The Dragon” Steamboat for AEW All Out 2023 PPV event, but things did not go as expected.

“The Dragon” Steamboat made an entrance with the contract for the Strap match at AEW All Out, which Starks promptly signed without hesitation. However, the surprise came when Danielson made an unexpected entrance and signed the contract to face Starks at AEW All Out.

Danielson has been out of action since the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event due to a broken arm. The upcoming match against Starks will be his first match after the injury.

During the August 5 episode of AEW Collison, Starks was defeated by CM Punk for the Real World Championship. Following the match, Starks expressed his frustration by turning on Steamboat, who was serving as the referee for the match.

During the August 12 episode of AEW Collision, it was revealed that Starks had received a 30-day suspension for whipping Steamboat in the context of the storyline. However, it was later decided to reduce the suspension to 28 days.

AEW All Out 2023 PPV event is scheduled for September 3, 2023, and it will be live from the United Center in Chicago, IL. A tag team match is also set for the event where Eddie Kingston and Katsuyori Shibata will face Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta.
