Bryan Danielson Injured at Forbidden Door, Out for 6-8 Weeks
The American Dragon Bryan Danielson suffered an injury at Forbidden Door PPV during the match against Kazuchika Okada.
Danielson himself officially confirmed the news during the AEWX NJPW Forbidden Door post-show media scrum. He revealed that he got a fracture in his forearm and will be out of action for six to eight weeks.
At the main event of AEWX NJPW Forbidden Door PPV, Bryan Danielson faced Kazuchika Okada. Danielson emerged victorious by forcing Okada to tap out. But during the match, Okada delivered an elbow drop around 10 minutes before the ending, which resulted in Danielson facing a fracture in his forearm.
Bryan Danielson has a fractured forearm. 6-8 week recovery. I wonder what this will do for Blood & Guts

Danielson acknowledged that his arm was not in a “safe space” during the move and that’s why a simple move led to this injury. The American Dragon was already reported to be dealing with injuries since his Ironman match against AEW World Champion MJF at AEW Revolution 2023 event.
AEW is reported to be planning Blood & Guts match on July 19 Dynamite episode in Boston. The Elite vs Blackpool Combat Club seems to be the Blood & Guts match this year. If that is the case, Danielson would miss out on the match once again.
Last year, Danielson suffered an injury at Double or Nothing 2022 event which led to him being left out of Blood & Guts match on June 29 Dynamite episode between Jericho Appreciation Society and Blackpool Combat Club. Danielson was replaced by Claudio Castagnoli in that match. It remains to be seen who replaced him in this year’s match.
