AEW Dynamite August 9: Young Bucks vs Hardys, Lucha Bros vs BCC Added
AEW has officially announced two tag team matches for August 9, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite, including The Young Bucks vs The Hardys match.
During the August 4 episode of Rampage, The Hardys teamed up with Keith Lee to defeat Kip Sabian, The Butcher, and The Blade in a trios match. Later in a segment, The Young Bucks(Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) announced that they now want to focus on tag team tiles. After this, The Hardys(Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy) came in and challenged The Young Bucks.
The Bucks mocked them playfully before accepting the challenge. The bout was officially announced by AEW for the August 9 episode of AEW Dynamite. The Hardys and The Young Bucks last competed against each other last at the AEW Double or Nothing 2022 PPV event, where The Hardys came out as the winners of the match.

Additionally, The Lucha Brothers (Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo) will face Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli) next week on Dynamite. During this week’s AEW Rampage, The Lucha Brothers issued a challenge stating that they would face the winners of the Parking Lot Fight between Blackpool Combat Club and Best Friends.
Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli) defeated Best Friends(Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta) in the match, which has set up this match.
On July 26 episode of AEW Dynamite, Lucha Bros (Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero Meido) defeated Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Baretta) and BCC (Claudio Castagnoli & Jon Moxley) in a 3-way tag team match.
August 9, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite will be live from Nationwide Arena, Columbus, OH, US. FTW Championship match is also scheduled for the show between Jack Perry and Rob Van Dam. Below is the announced line-up for the show:
