Welcome to the live results blog for AEW Rampage August 4, 2023, which was pre-taped earlier this week in Tampa, FL,(spoilers available here) as the build-up for All In 2023 & All Out 2023 continued.

A parking lot fight was set for the show where Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli battled Best Friends. Anna Jay took on Skye Blue in the only singles match on the card. Swerve Strickland and AR Fox were in tag team action.

Keith Lee teamed up with The Hardys in a trios match to take on Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade. Tune in below as we post results from AEW Rampage August 4, 2023, with live updates, winners and highlights.

Keith Lee & The Hardys(Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) defeated Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade in a tag team match via pinfall.
Anna Jay defeated Skye Blue in a singles match via pinfall.
Swerve Strickland & AR Fox defeated Logan Cruz & Tyshaun Perez in a tag team match via pinfall.
Blackpool Combat Club(Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli) defeated Best Friends(Chuck Taylor & Trent Baretta) in Parking Lot Fight.

Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade vs Keith Lee & The Hardys(Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy)

Kip starts against Jeff with a kick to midsection and a shoulder tackle. He throws Jeff to the floor before mocking Jeff by mimicking his dance. Jeff tackles him as he comes in. Matt tags in and Jeff jumps off his back for a corner splash. Matt hits a body slam and an elbow from the second rope. Kip takes Matt to his corner and tags in Blade. Blade hits chops before Matt hits him with a back elbow. Matt hits Side Effect. Butcher takes a cheap shot before tagging in. Butcher hits chops. Matt avoids him in the corner and slams his face into the turnbuckle a few time. Jeff tags in and knocks off Sabian and Blade. Butcher throws him outside where his teammates take over the attack before throwing him back in. We cut to a break.

Jeff is cornered and is hit with chops and cannonballs. Butcher hits a half nelson backbreaker. He knocks off Matt from the apron. Jeff hits a jawbreaker and tags in Lee. Lee tackles Blade before a corner splash on Butcher. Kip jumps on his back but Lee continues to splash Butcher and Blade. He throws Kip to the mat. Kip comes back with an enzuigiri. Lee hits him with a body slam. Matt hits Twist of Fate on Butcher and Blade. Kip goes for a springboard dropkick but Lee just swats it away. Jeff hits a Swanton Bomb on Kip to get the pinfall.

Winners – Keith Lee & The Hardys

We see Roderick Strong throwing tantrums after Adam Cole vs MJF was announced. We hear from The Kingdom who recall how Cole was in their stable during his previous stint in ROH where he became ROH World Champion. They stress that Cole forget his real friends easily.

The Young Bucks are recording backstage where they express that they want to return to tag team title scene. The Hardys interrupt them and challenge them for a match. They are set to clash on Dynamite next week.

Anna Jay vs Skye Blue

Blue starts with a side headlock. Counters from both sides before they break. They lock up before Anna gets on a waist lock. Blue hits her with her hips to back her up. Running around before Blue hits a shoulder tackle. She nails her with a kick to the jaw before Anna avoids her in the corner and sends her to the apron. Anna tackles Blue off the apron to take us to a break.

Anna is in control as we return. Blue counters in the corner before hitting a crossbody. She nails a knee to the face to get a two-count. Anna hits a back heel kick and flatliner to get a near fall. Blue counters queenslayer with a roll-up. Blue nails a superkick but the pin count is stopped as Angelo Parker distracts the referee. Blue nails Parker with a punch but it allows Anna to put on The Queenslayer to get a submission.

Winner – Anna Jay

We see Kris Statlander doing sits up with Renee on her shoulders. She says Mercedes Martinez running her over with her own title has pis#ed her off and she is coming for her.

We cut to Daily’s Place where Paul Wight and Tony Schiavone tell us that Lucha Bros have challenged the winners of Parking Lot Brawl. PAC is injured though and will not be able to take part in that match.

Swerve Strickland & AR Fox vs Logan Cruz & Tyshaun Perez

Cruz and Perez pose in the middle of the ring. Fox hits them with a missile dropkick. He hits a tope suicida on the floor. Strickland runs over one of the opponents and hits a powerbomb on the other one. Cruz tries to fight back but Fox brings him down from the top before hitting a cutter. He hits a 450 splash to get the pinfall.

We cut to another segment of QTV. QT Marshall says thier crew member is upset at thier loss to The Hardys. Johnny TV slides off a red carpet somewhere to issue an open challenge.

Blackpool Combat Club(Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli) vs Best Friends(Chuck Taylor & Trent Baretta) – Parking Lot Fight

The Parking Lot Brawl starts with a brawl. Moxley has already smashed a fork on Baretta’s head. Claudio drops Taylor with a side suplex on a car hood. Baretta hits a crossbody on Moxley. Claudio slams opponents with a spoiler. Best Friends sends him into a car’s boot. They slams him with a car hood. Moxley saves him from more damage and puts Baretta under the hood to slam it on him. Taylor is dropped on top of the hood. Claudio puts Baretta in the swing

Moxley brings in a trash can and Claudio throws Baretta into it. Baretta fires back with punches before Taylor comes in with a street sign to hit them. Best Friends control the proceeding for a while. Moxley hits a suplex on Taylor on the safety rail. We cut to a break.

Baretta hits a senton on Claudio on a safety rail on top of a car. Moxley hits Taylor with Paradigm shift on concrete. Claudio pulls Moxley out of a running tackle from Baretta, who crashes into the car. Claudio slams Baretta into a car. Baretta fights out of a powerbomb and hits a doombuster on top of a car. Moxley puts him in a rear naked choke. Baretta fights out after a while. They go back-and-forth on top of a car. Moxley hits a double underhook suplex to slam Baretta on top of a car windshield.

Taylor siphons out some gas from the car and lights up a wooden slab. Wheeler Yuta comes in and the distraction allows Claudio to snatch the slab from Taylor. Taylor is hit with the fired up slab. Cassidy comes out on top of Baretta’s mom’s car and dives on BCC. But, BCC take over control and Moxley hits him with Paradigm Shift on top of a car. They bully Baretta’s mom and make her leave. They destroy her car. They hit a curb stomp on Baretta on the car’s door. Moxley hits a curbstomp on the windshield and gets a pinfall.
