Triple H has announced that the Money in the Bank 2023 PPV event was the highest-grossing arena event in WWE history.

Money in the Bank 2023 event took place on July 1 at The O2 Arena in London, UK. A sizable audience attended the event, which featured exciting and hyped-up matches.

The main event featured Bloodline civil war, where The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso) defeated Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. There were also more thrilling and anticipated matches, Damian Priest won the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match and Iyo Sky won the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase.

In the post-show press conference, WWE Content Head Triple H announced that this year’s edition was the highest-grossing MITB event while also being the highest-grossing arena event for WWE. Only the events that have aired from bigger stadiums and super domes have grossed more in ticket sales. Official attendance figure for the show was 18,875.

Triple H also announced that June 30, 2023 episode of SmackDown was also the highest-grossing SmackDown episode in the company’s history. More than 17000 fans attended SmackDown that night.

Every PLE event that WWE has presented this year has broken records in gross revenue in its series, be it Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, WrestleMania, Backlash, or Money in the Bank.

WWE’s next PPV event is scheduled for August 5, SummerSlam it will be live from Ford Field in Detroit, MI.
