Dillon Danis Becomes Free Agent After Bellator MMA Release

Dillon Danis has become a free agent after being released by Bellator MMA.
The report came from Ariel Helwani that Bellator MMA has released Dillon Danis following a somewhat unconventional partnership.
Danis initially signed with the promotion in 2018 but participated in just two fights over 14 months, winning both by first-round submission.

Bellator officially released Danis this weekend, sources say.
Following those two victories in Bellator, Dillon Danis encountered a series of injuries and other issues, which led to some fight cancellations. There also appeared to be a reluctance to return to MMA competition following this.
After four years, Danis fought in a boxing match against Logan Paul just last week, which he lost by disqualification.
Following his recent boxing loss, Dillon Danis expressed his intention to pursue a contract with the UFC. However, as of now, there is no indication that the UFC has expressed any interest in signing him.
Danis has been a controversial figure on social media, especially in recent times with his tweets against Logan Paul and his fiance during the build up for his boxing fight against Logan.
