WWE SmackDown August 11: AJ Styles vs Karrion Kross Set
WWE has announced that AJ Styles will face Karrion Kross on the August 11, 2023, episode of SmackDown.
During August 4 episode of SmackDown, a confrontation was seen between Styles and Kroos, which resulted in a match on the August 11 episode of SmackDown.
The rivalry between Styles and Kross started when AJ Styles defeated Karrion Kross in a one-on-one match on the May 26 episode of SmackDown. Throughout the year, Styles and Kross have engaged in several clashes. Kross and Scarlett defeated Styles and Michin in a mixed tag team match during this rivalry.
Styles had also defeated Kross on July 7 episode of SmackDown in less than two minutes. Both Styles and Kross are scheduled to participate in Slim Jim Battle Royal at WWE SummerSlam.
The August 11 episode of SmackDown will be live from the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Canada. The United States Championship match is also scheduled for the show, where Santos Escobar will face Austin Theory.
Escobar earned the opportunity by winning United States Championship Invitational Tournament. He defeated Rey Mysterio in the final of the tournament last week. Theory attacked Escobar while he was ringside during LA Knight vs Sheamus match. Escobar attacked Theory back after his match against Cameron Grimes.
