Tony Khan Talks About Jade Cargill Contract Before WWE Move
AEW President Tony Khan has shared his thoughts on the contract discussions he had with Jade Cargill before she left the organization.
On September 26, WWE made an official announcement regarding Jade Cargill’s multi-year contract signing with the company. This came after her previous contract with AEW had expired on September 15, when she was the former TBS Champion.
In the aftermath of WrestleDream, Tony Khan acknowledged during the media scrum that he was taken aback by Jade Cargill’s decision not to renew her contract with AEW. Khan also shared that he bumped up the offer to Cargill which was actually more than what Cargill asked initially.

However, when it became clear two weeks before her contract expiration that Cargill was not renewing her contract, Tony agreed on giving her a proper send off.
Jade Cargill’s last appearance in an AEW wrestling match took place on the September 15 episode of Rampage, where she was defeated by Statlander for the TBS Title. That was just her second loss during her entire AEW run.
Jade Cargill has started training in the WWE Performance Center, and she is also getting many responses from female superstars who want to face her. Personally, Cargill has also mentioned she wants to fight Bianca Belair. However, the details on her debut appearance with WWE is not announced yet.
