WWE RAW April 17, 2023, Preview & Match Card
WWE RAW episode of April 17, 2023, will feature Bobby Lashley in action and will also mark the return of Brock Lesnar to the red brand.

Bobby Lashley vs Austin Theory
WWE announced that Bobby Lashley will collide against the US champion Austin Theory in a non-title match. Theory is high on confidence with his win against John Cena. Whereas, Bobby Lashley brawled with Bronson Reed after missing Mania. Now, it will be interesting to see if this match leads to a United States championship match.
Brock Lesnar to Answer Cody Rhodes’ Challenge
Brock Lesnar turned on Cody Rhodes and brutally attacked him on Raw after WrestleMania. Last week, Cody Rhodes appeared and challenged Brock Lesnar to a match at Backlash 2023. Rhodes stated that he is scared but he still wants to face the Beast Incarnate. Now, Brock Lesnar will appear this Monday to answer Cody Rhodes’ challenge.
Trish Stratus to Explain her Actions
Last week Trish Stratus replaced Lita in a women’s tag team title match against Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez and teamed with Becky Lynch. Liv pinned Stratus to win the match, and when Lynch was trying to console Trish, the latter attacked Becky Lynch and turned heel. Now, she will appear on Raw to explain her actions last week.
Seth Rollins vs The Miz
Seth Rollins is announced to face The Miz in a singles match for April 17 RAW episode. This match is kind of a surprise. Rollins was last seen on RAW After WrestleMania episode where he just walked out for the crowd to sing his theme and walked back after the commercial break without doing a promo.
The Miz was seen on the same episode where his promo was interrupted by an attack from Matt Riddle. Riddle and Miz were set for a match on last week’s RAW, but that match was cut from the show.
What Else to Expect?
Expect the next chapter in Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens’ rivalry against The Bloodline to continue after The Bloodline attacked Matt Riddle on SmackDown.
Iyo Sky has become the #1 contender for RAW Women’s Championship after replacing Bayley in the #1 contender match. When will she get her title shot? And will the issues between Damage CTRL increase?
I was surprised to see Asuka participating in a 3-way title match with Piper vs. Bianca this weekend in Rio Rancho, NM and UTEP! Piper took the pin via KOD each night but where does this leave the Empress? If Asuka can’t get a rematch at Backlash then I hope she starts a feud with another contender or forms a tag team with someone to challenge for the title down the road! Sky is the number 1 contender for the RAW womens title so I suspect the EST may receive a beat down tonight on RAW?
