LWO Challenge The Street Profits & Lashley for WWE Fastlane 2023
A six-man tag team bout might be in the work for WWE Fastlane 2023 PPV event.
LWO, consisting of Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar and Joaquin Wilde, has challenged face Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits for a trios match for the event.
During the September 29 episode of SmackDown, Escobar was set to face Rey Mysterio for United States Championship match. Rey successfully defeated Escobar and retained the title.

However, after the match, The Street Profits launched an assault on Rey and Escobar. Joaquin Wilde attempted to come to their aid, but he too was taken down by Lashley.
Following a break, Rey and Escobar were interviewed backstage. Rey expressed his view that Lashley and The Street Profits were behaving as though they were controlling SmackDown. As a result, they issued a challenge to them for a match at Fastlane.
During the September 22 episode of SmackDown, LWO defeated defeated The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) in a tag team match despite Lashley running an interference from outside. The Profits actually hesitated in taking advantage, which became a cause of friction between them and Lashley.
The attack on LWO was The Street Profits’ attempt to show Lashley that they can be vicious.
WWE Fastlane 2023 PLE is scheduled for October 7, 2023, and it will be live from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN. LA Knight was revealed as John Cena’s partner to take on The Bloodline for a tag team match at the event.
