WWE NXT January 16: Battle Royale, Tag Team Matches Announced
WWE has announced four matches for January 16, 2024, episode of NXT, including Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament matches and 20-women battle royale.
During January 9 episode of NXT, Lyra Valkyria announced that there will be a women’s battle royale at January 16 episode of NXT. The battle royale featured Roxanne Perez, Fallon Henley, and Cora Jade.
The last four competitors remaining in the battle royale will then compete in a fatal four-way match. The winner of this fatal four-way match will earn the opportunity to face Valkyrie at NXT Vengeance Day 2024 event.
During that particular segment, Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez confronted Valkyria and ultimately assaulted her before Tatum Paxley intervened to help. Consequently, a tag team bout has been scheduled for the upcoming week, featuring Vice and Lopez facing off against Valkyria and Paxley.

Additionally, Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will progress with Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne taking on LWO, and Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams facing Edris Enofe and Malik Blade as the final two first-round matchups.
