AEW Revolution 2024: Christian vs Garcia, Meat Madness Announced
AEW has added two more matches to AEW Revolution 2024 PPV with Christian Cage defending TNT Championship against Daniel Garcia.
Garcia faced Adam Copeland in a #1 contender match for TNT Championship last week on Dynamite. But, the match was interrupted by the Patriarchy and both men were beaten down. Copeland was hit with con-chair-to and remains sidelined currently. This week on Dynamite, Tony Schiavone announced that Garcia would challenge Cage for the title.
Cage came out after the announcement and continued “Your Father is Dead” skit with Garcia. Garcia then dared him to come to the ring, but Nick Wayne and Killshot went to attack Garcia instead. Matt Menard, with a steel chair, helped Garcia to parry the attack.
The other match that is announced for Revolution PPV is “Meat Madness”. The rules of this match are not clear but it seems that large-sized wrestlers will take part in this match.
Wardlow was the first name to be announced for Meat Madness. Powerhouse Hobbs was also revealed to be a participant in the match.
Additionally, FTR have challenged Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli for a tag team match. The two teams clashed in a match on Dynamite this week which ended in a time-limit draw. FTR asked BCC duo to now settle the score at Revolution.
AEW Revolution 2024 is scheduled for March 3, 2024, at Greensboro Collesium in Greensboro, NC. Will Ospreay vs Konosuke Takeshita match was added to the show last week.
