Tony D’Angelo & Stacks Win NXT Tag Titles at Great American Bash 2023
The Family’s Tony D. Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defeated Gallus(Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) to win NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT Great American Bash 2023 event.
Gallus vs The Family opened Great American Bash event where D’Angelo and Stacks started strong. However, Gallus’ cheap tactics turned things around quickly. Things changed once again when Tony got a hot tag and hit numerous suplexes.
Joe Coffey tried to put his impact on the match by introducing a stick and Gallus were able to hit their finisher on Stacks, only for Tony to break the pinfall. Tony then knocked off Joe off the apron and sent they hit successfully hit Bada Boom Bada Bing on Wolfgang for the victory.

Tony D’Angelo and Stacks won their first NXT Tag Team titles. They both got the opportunity for the match when Stacks defeated Joe Coffey in a one-on-one match on the July 11 episode of NXT where the stipulation was Tony would be free from jail if he won, and The D’Angelo Family would get the tag title shot against Gallus.
Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) won the NXT Tag Team titles at the NXT Vengeance Day 2023 PPV event by defeating The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods), Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson), and Chase University (Andre Chase and Duke Hudson). Gallus successfully defended these titles on six occasions.
