Welcome to the live results page for WWE NXT July 11, 2023, which featured an appearance from Judgment Day along with the build-up for The Great American Bash 2023 event.

Bron Breakker and Ilja Dragunov featured in a singles match which crowned a new #1 contender for NXT Championship. The winner would face Carmelo Hayes at Great American Bash. Hayes himself had to deal with Judgment Day in a tag team match.

A tag team match saw Chase U’s Andre Chase and Duke Hudson taking on Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey. Kelani Jordan faced Cora Jade in a singles match. NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton took on Ivy Nile in a non-title match. Stacks battled Joe Coffey in a release or trial match with Tony D’Angelo’s future on the line.

Judgment Day Comes to NXT

Judgment Day opens NXT. Finn Balor says this is his house and he is here to set some house rules. He introduces his teammates one by one. Priest asks all rise to Judgment Day. He says Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams thought they were inviting a divided Judgment Day, but this is the Judgment Day that runs WWE. Dominik takes the mic but heavy booing does not let him speak.

Hayes and Williams come out. Rhea says they do not interrupt Dirty Dom. Hayes appreciates that they are here and Balor is in Mount Rushmore of NXT, but NXT is his arena now. Rhea laughs at them and says it was never about them. Hayes tells them to look at the stat. Priest says he does not have Judgment Day staring at him. Trick says Priest is writing cheques that he can’t cash. Hayes challenges them for a tag team match. Balor accepts.


Tony D’Angelo joins for a video call from prison. Tony refutes that he does not trust Stacks but he does not know this kid anymore.


Gigi Dolin gets a pre-recorded promo where she shows some pics from Kiana James’ rebellious past. Dolin asks her to get the gloves off. We cut to Kiana in the locker room who is worried from where did Gigi got those pictures.

Drew Gulak & Charlie Dempsey vs Chase U(Duke Hudson & Andre Chase)

Chase U duo attacks Dempsey and Gulak on the ramp. They get into the ring. Hudson clotheslines Gulak to the floor. The referee gets the bell rung with Chase and Dempsey fighting. Chase hits a monkey flip using Dempsey’ momentum. Hudson tags in but Dempsey hits back with forearms before Gulak comes in for some double team. Hudson hits a hurricanrana on Gulak. Gulak fires a forearm. Hudson hits an Urinage before getting to the top.

Gulak tries to counter but Hudson slams his face into the turnbuckle. Hudson hits a Michinoku Driver from the second rope. Hudson has hurt his right arm. Chase tags in. Gulak brings in Dempsey who hits a body slam. He puts on a lock but Chase hits back and tags in Hudson who hits a double clothesline. Chase and Hudson hit signature jabs and elbow. Gulak and Dempsey rolls to the floor. Chase U tells them it is a teachable moment.

Dempsey has an arm stretch on Hudson as we return. Dempsey hits a modified suplex when Hudson tries to tag out. Hudson hits a back body drop on Dempsey, and then on Gulak. Chase tags in and hits quick punches before a swinging neckbreaker on Dempsey and a dropkick on Gulak. Dempsey matches him blow to blow. Chase gets better of the exchange hits a Russian Leg Sweep before Chase U stomps. Gulak breaks the pin after a high crossbody.

Gulak and Dempsey hit German suplexes on Chase for a near fall. Gulak argues with the referee. Thea Hail puts Gulak in a Kimura lock on the floor. Hudson and Chase hit Fratliner on Dempsey to get the pinfall.

Winners – Chase U

Bron Breakker cuts a promo backstage and says Dragunov will become a champion once again someday, but it will not happen until he is in NXT. There are not enough referees to stop him today.


Von Wagner talks with Mr. Stone where he says the kind of things Javier Bernal was talking last week were the same things that kids use to say to him in school, and he became angry because of that. He thanks Mr. Stone for taking care of him.

Kelani Jordan vs Cora Jade

Jordan starts with a hammerlock. Jade breaks it with a back elbow before putting on a chinlock. Jordan counters with an armdrag and a dropkick. Jade cuts off her attack and stomps on her back to get a two-count. Jade continues ot work on her. She traps Jordan’s arms on the ropes and hits a big chop and a dropkick. Jordan avoids a hip attack on the ropes and rolls up for a two-count. Jordan hits flying forearm shots and a handspring tackle. Jade turns it around and trips her off the ropes. Jade hits DDT to get the pinfall.

Winner – Cora Jade

Jade tries to use a baseball bat on Jordan but Dana Brooke makes the save.


Ilja Dragunov says Breakker has not felt his rage and power yet, and claims that he will get past Breakker and to Great American Bash.


Gable Stevenson and Eddy Thorpe are interviewed after their NXT Underground match last week. Dijak rants on some NXT recruits who think Thorpe is stronger than him.

Bron Breakker vs Ilja Dragunov – #1 contender for NXT Championship

Breakker block a boot and hits quick punches and tackles. Dragunov hits back with a forearm before some chops. Breakker gets him down. Dragunov blocks a German suplex but Breakker ducks a shot and hits a suplex. Breakker rakes his face on the ropes. Dragunov fires back with chops. He hits a jumping knee and a knee drop. He hits an uppercut before some blows to the back. Breakker gets him down a double leg takedown. They crash land on the outside as Dragunov counters Breakker’s suplex.

They are trading punches as we return. Dragunov hits a running boot before more punches and a clothesline to drop Breakker. Dragunov hits a German suplex and holds onto his grip. Breakker hits back with a German suplex but Dragunov also hits another suplex. Breakker blocks the KO shot with an upkick. Breakker hits a bulldog from the top rope. Dragunov gets him up and drives him into the corner turnbuckle. He follows it up with coast to coast dropkick. Dragunov hits Torpedo but Breakker kicks out of the pinfall just in time.

Dragunov jumps off the top but Breakker counters it with a spear midair. Dragunov also kicks out of the pin. Breakker goes for the powerslam but Dragunov counters it into a DDT. Dragunov has to muster all of his strength to hit a powerbomb. Dragunov hits running punch but Breakker kicks out. Breakker hits a clothesline. Dragunov hits a running knee to counter a spear. Dragunov hits torpedo once again to get the pinfall.

Winner – Ilja Dragunov

Wes Lee is backstage for an interview and is excited about his match against Mustafa Ali at Great American Bash. Dominik Mysterio comes in with Rhea Ripley and asks if Lee is the open challenge guy. He accepts the open challenge. Lee says he has not done open challenges as things started getting crazy, but he will be happy to get it done. Dominik says the match will be next week as Lee will get some time to prepare.


We get a video package for The Lone Wolf Baron Corbin.

Tiffany Stratton vs Ivy Nile

Stratton starts with a couple of running shoulder tackle. Ivy comes back with a belly to belly suplex. She gets a takedown to get a two-count. Tiffany goes for a double leg stomp but Ivy counters with an ankle lock attempt. Stratton lands on her feet when Ivy hits a hurricanrana. She trips Nile on the apron and hits a hip attack to knock her to the floor. Back to the ring, Stratton puts on a chinlock. Ivy dodges a handspring elbow and hits an enzuigiri. She hits more quick moves. Stratton avoids a running punch but Nile ends up putting on her submission. Stratton sends her into the turnbuckle after overpowering her. Stratton hits Prettiest Moonsault Ever to get the pinfall.

Winner – Tiffany Stratton

After the match, Stratton tries to address “You Tapped Out” chants, but gets frustrated with more booing and throws the mic.


Backstage, Thea Hail tells Andre Chase how she puts on Kimura Lock. Duke Hudson comes in and encourages her to get a rematch for NXT Women’s Champion.


Blair Davenport is interviewed about how she brutalized Roxanne Perez and says Roxanne was a champion until she arrived. If Roxanne tries to get back at her, she will leave Roxanne with Nikkita and Wendy on the shelf.

Stacks vs Joe Coffey – Freedom or Trial

Coffey starts with an arm wringer. Stacks reverses it after some effort. Coffey puts on a side headlock and gets him to the mat. Stacks tries to dodge Coffey off the ropes but Coffey hits a shoulder tackle. Coffey tells Stacks that it is time. Coffey hits a discuss clothesline but Stacks kick out. Coffey is livid and screams at Stacks that they had a deal. Stacks replies that he is no snitch. We cut to a break.

Coffey has Stacks in a lock. Tony gets on the call from prison and reveals that it was their plan for Stacks to take this match, and not Gallus’ plan. Stacks tries to fight back but Gallus run a distraction and Coffey runs him over. Lucien Price and Bronco Nima come out to engage with the tag team champions at ringside. Stacks hits running forearm, running shoulder and a jumping knee. He hits a back body drop on Coffey before attacking Wolfgang and Mark Coffey on the floor.

Mark argues with the referee. Stacks gets an iron bar and hits Joe Coffey with it. Wolfgang comes in and Stacks pulls off a “Eddie Guerrero” and throws the iron bar to Wolfgang. The referee catches Wolfgang with the iron bar and boots him from ringside. Stacks hits a curbstomp to get the pinfall.

Winner – Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo

Ivy Nile is sitting alone backstage. Joe Gacy comes in with Schism and mocks her after Creed Brothers are expelled from NXT. Nile blames Gacy for Creeds losing their last match. Gacy tries to swat away the blame and tells Nile that she is welcome to join Schism.


Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz are backstage and asked about Noam Dar being unable to conduct Supernova Sessions tonight. They call him just annoying. Los Lotharios come in and ask them to join this evening. Leon and Feroz tell them not to hit on them again. Dragon Lee and Nathan Frazer come in to ask Leon and Feroz if they have any problem. Los Lotharios leave.

Judgment Day(Finn Balor & Damian Priest) vs Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams

Priest and Trick start the match with a lock up. Trick puts on a headlock. Priest no-sells a shoulder tackle and hits a big punch before an uppercut in the corner. Priest stomps on Trick in the corner a few times before a hard whip across the ring into the other turnbuckle. Balor tags in and continues with big shots. Priest hits a broken arrow to get a two-count. More tags between Balor and Priest. Balor hits shoulder tackles in the corner before some chops. Trick fires back with a punch but Balor shuts him down quickly. Trick explodes from a corner with a clothesline. Hayes comes in for double team on Balor. Priest comes in and Hayes hits him with a springboard tackle. We cut to a break.

Balor has Hayes in a side headlock. Priest comes in to hit a back elbow in the corner. Balor & Priest hit a backbreaker & legdrop combo. Priest puts on a shoulder stretch. Priest hits a jawbreaker and tags in Trick. Trick unloads on Priest before hitting a dropkick, a flatliner and a neckbreaker to get a two-count. Priest hits big forearm. Trick hits an enzuigiri. Both men hit each other with a clothesline. Hayes and Balor come. Hayes hits a back elbow, a clotheslines, inverted atomic drop, sends Balor to the corner and then nails a superkick. Balor comes back with a slingblade and shotgun dropkick.

Hayes avoids Coupe De Grace and hits springboard shoulder tackle. Priest tags in but Hayes counters South of Heaven with a stunner. Priest hits a Pulp Fiction. Trick breaks the pin and kicks Balor to the outside. Priest takes him to outside and hits a powerbomb on the announce table. Back to the ring, Hayes hits a superkick and codebreaker on Priest. Dominik distracts him and Priest hits him with an uppercut. Hayes hits a bulldog to slam Priest to the mat face-first. Dominik gets into the ring with a steel chair.

Rhea Ripley slides in Money in the Bank briefcase. Ilja Dragunov runs out and pulls out the briefcase. But, Hayes was pushed into Dragunov to knock him off the apron. Priest then catches Hayes with South of Heaven and Balor hits him with Coupe de Grace to get the pinfall.

Winner – Judgment Day

Judgment Day stand tall on the stage. Hayes and Dragunov are arguing in the near as the show goes off the air.
