Orange Cassidy will defend his AEW International Championship against Jon Moxley at AEW All Out 2023 PPV event.

On the August 30 episode of AEW Dynamite, Cassidy defeated Penta El Zero Meido to retain the AEW International Championship. Jon Moxley was also scheduled for the show, where he defeated Komander in a one-on-one match.

After his win, Orange Cassidy cut a passionate promo saying that International Championship means everything for him and that’s why he keeps defending him every week despite all his injuries. Cassidy has defended the title 31 times apart from several tag team and non-title matches. Cassidy is said to be carrying several injuries but has kept fighting to retain the title.

Cassidy and Moxley’s rivalry started on the July 26 episode of AEW Dynamite. During the episode, Lucha Bros (Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Meido) defeated Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Baretta) and BCC (Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley) in a 3-way tag team.

After the match, BCC attacked Best Friends, which resulted in Cassidy coming to save his faction mates. The same thing happened on the August 4 episode of AEW Rampage, where BCC was scheduled to face Best Friends in a Parking Lot fight match.

In the course of the match, Cassidy returned to support his faction, but he was subjected to a severe assault by Moxley. At All In event, Cassidy was successful in defeating BCC, Santana, and Ortiz with Eddie Kingston, Best Friends, and Penta El Zero Meido in a 10-man tag team match.

AEW All Out 2023 PPV event is scheduled for September 3, 2023, and it will be live from the United Center in Chicago, IL. ROH Television title bout is also set for the event between Samoa Joe and Shane Taylor.
