AEW Dynamite June 7: Cassidy v Swerve, Starks v White 2 Official
AEW has announced two matches for AEW Dynamite June 7, 2023 episode, with International Championship match and a rematch between Ricky Starks and Jay White.
At AEW Double or Nothing 2023, Cassidy successfully retained International Championship in Blackjack Battle Royal. He is now announced to face Swerve Strickland next week. Strickland was the last wrestler that Cassidy eliminated in the Battle Royal.
On May 31 episode of AEW Dynamite, both superstars emerged victorious in their respective bouts. Swerve Strickland defeated Big Bill and Trent Baretta in a triple-threat match. Orange Cassidy teamed up with Darby Allin to beat Gates of Agony(Kon & Toa Liona) from Swerve’s stable The Mogul Affiliates. Swerve was on the stage during this match, but his post-match attack was blocked by Sting’s arrival.
Ricky Starks and Jay White will clash once again on Dynamite on June 7 episode. During this week’s Dynamite episode, Bulet Club Gold’s Jay White and Juice Robinson continued their trash talk against Starks before calling out FTR on saving Starks from them at Double or Nothing. White and Juice instigated a brawl and got the upper hand until Starks comes to the aid of FTR. He then went on to openly challenge White for a rematch.
Starks’ rivalry with Bullet Club Gold started in March when Juice attacked him. Jay White then assaulted Starks before his match with Juice upon his arrival to AEW on April 5 Dynamite episode. White and Starks clashed at Dynamite May 17 episode which ended in a disqualification after Starks hit White with a steel chair.
AEW Dynamite June 7, 2023 episode airs from Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Spring, CO. The current lineup is as below:
