3 More Matches Added to NXT Great American Bash 2023

NXT has added three more matches to NXT Great American Bash 2023 event including two title matches.

Thea Hail will challenge Tiffany Stratton for NXT Women’s Championship. Hail was unsuccessful in beating Stratton at NXT Gold Rush, however, Hail did force Stratton to tap out during the match via Kimura lock, but the referee was distracted by Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak.

Hail beat Elektra Lopez in a singles match on NXT this week(July 18). After this win, she challenged Stacks for a rematch. Stratton came out and accepted the challenge. However, Hail also asked for it to be a submission match. Stratton refused to add the stipulation, but Hail put him in a Kimura lock once again and did not leave her until she agreed to the stipulation.

Tony D’Angelo is out of jail and is ready to challenge for NXT Tag Team Championship with Stacks. Stacks defeated Joe Coffey last week where the stipulation was Tony will be free from the jail if he wins, and The D’Angelo Family will get the tag title shot against Gallus. The match was made official during this week’s NXT. The two sides also engaged in a brawl during NXT this week where Tony and Stacks came out on the top by putting Joe Coffey through a table.

Roxanne Perez and Blair Davenport are also set for a rematch at The Great American Bash. Davenport attacked Perez upon her return to NXT a few weeks back. Davenport also defeated Perez in a singles match two weeks on NXT. The duo sit down for a split screen interview and shared more harsh words. Perez also revealed during the interview that they would clash at Great American Bash.

NXT Great American Bash 2023 is set to take place at Perez’s home state of Texas in Cedar Park. The event is set to take place on July 30, 2023.

Wes Lee was scheduled to defend NXT North American Championship against Mustafa Ali. Dominik Mysterio has become the champion now after beating Lee this week. It is remains to be seen if the North America title still booked for the event
