Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder will complete their highly anticipated trilogy on October 9, 2021, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Fury’s WBC(Super) and The Ring World Heavyweight Championships will be on the line in this match.

The first of their bouts ended in a controversial split draw while Fury completely dominated the second match to win the title after Wilder’s corner threw the towel in the seventh round. The event got postponed from July 24 after Fury was found positive for COVID-19.

There has been a lot of verbal shots taken from both sides with Wilder even calling Fury a cheater and claimed that he used doctored gloves during their second bout. It will not be a surprise if tempers rise from both sides during or after the bout.

Pre-Fight

After lengthy prelims, undercard and main card, it’s time for the main event. Fury and Wilder return to the ring after 20 months from their second bout back.

We are getting the video package for the match now. The package has lot of mentions of Mike Tyson. We see the scathing comments from the press conference and clips from the previous matches.

National Anthems of UK and US are getting done now.

We are still waiting on the fighters to walk out. Fury is dancing backstage though and looked fairly relaxed. There are reports that Wilder is having some issues with his gloves. The wait is on for Wilder to walk out.

Big E now introduces Tyson Fury as he wants us to “Feel the Power” and “Clap for The Champ.” Fury is getting a gypsy-themed entrance. Once again, Fury is looking very relaxed and is grooving on his entrance music.

We are onto the announcements now. Fury is looking at Wilder as he would kill him. We are ready to go.

Fight

Round 1: Wilder starts with attempting some jabs at the body. Fury avoids a few but soon Wilder is on him. Fury is forced to back paddle until now as he assess the situation. Fury finally ands first shot after 90 seconds, but had to close down immediately. Wilder gets more offense going, but Fury come back with more punches as the round comes to an end. Round to Wilder 10-9.

Round 2: Fury has gone ahead in punches landed in the first minute of round 2. Both men remain cautious though. Wilder forces Fury to the ropes with a big jab. Fury comes back with a combination. It’s getting fierce now. Fury is still able to land more shots. Round ends with Wilder closing down Fury’s jabs. Round to Fury(10-9). Overall – 19-19.

Round 3: Fury dodges some shots as the round starts. He is able to land shots at the body. The referee warns Fury to not put Wilder in headlock, which he was doing again and again as Wilder was looking close down his body. Wilder gets more aggressive and lands some punches. Fury is able to land a big right and sends Wilder tumbling. Wilder gets back up in 5. The round end with more punches from Fury. Round to Fury(10-8). Overall Fury 29-27 Wilder.

Round 4: Its Fury who starts strong in this round. Wilder could only get some bodyshots. Fury is landing almost double of punches compared to Wilder till now. Fury lands more combination punches in the second minute of this round. Wilder rocks Fury now and takes him down. Another big moment in this fight. Fury gets back up, but Wilder lands another thunderous right hand to bring him down. Round to Wilder(10-8). Overall Fury 37-37 Wilder.

Round 5: Once again the fight has changed the momentum as Fury is looking strong with combination jabs. Wilder is also able to land a few. Fury still looking like winning this round as he is landing more punches. Round to Fury(10-9). Overall Fury 47-46 Wilder.

Round 6: Caution from both sides to start this round. Fury lands more punches. Wilder is missing so many of his shots. Fury lands a big right but Wilder replies big punches of his own. Fury comes out swinging and forces Wilder to his knees. Fury once again forces Wilder to the ropes. This is helping Fury to land more punches. Round to Fury(10-9). Overall Fury 57-55 Wilder.

Round 7: Fury lands more punches after forcing Wilder to the ropes. The referee seperate them but Fury is able to repeat the same thing again. Wilder swings a few big right hands at the body, but it is Fury who almost knocks him down again. More offense from Fury as the round comes to an end. Round to Fury(10-9). Overall Fury 67-64 Wilder.

Round 8: Fury lands more punches by forcing Wilder to the ropes. Nice combination punches from Fury in the corner. Wilder is mostly backpaddling at this moment. Fury lands more right hands. Even more right hands. Wilder looking tired but is trying to fight back. Round to Fury again(10-9). Overall Fury 77-73 Wilder.

Round 9: An official checks on Wilder, who seemingly has damaged his right hand. But the fight conitnues. Fury crosses 100 punches as per the official broadcast while Wilder just has around 55. Fury is not stopping there though. He lands more combination punches to sore up his landing punches. Wilder does not have much going in his favor apart from some odd punches. Both men keep slugging it out in the final 20 seconds of the match. Round to Fury(10-9). Overall Fury 87-82 Wilder.

Round 10: Fury comes with more big right hands to start the tenth round. Fury lands another big right to send Wilder tumbling. He gets up early though. Fury comes out in a more confident manner. Wilder tumbles to the ropes again. Wilder manages to take Fury to the corner and lands a few shot as the round comes to an end. Round to Fury(10-8). Overall Fury 97-90 Wilder.

Round 11: Fury starts with more jabs. Wilder is hanging on somehow. Another big right from Fury. Wilder swings but eats a body shot from Fury. Fury hits another right hand and this time Wilder is down for good. TKO win for Fury.
