SYNOPSIS
Joe Fournier, a professional boxer turned businessman, called out influential boxers like KSI, Jake Paul, and Logan Paul for not fighting real boxers on several occasions. Although he remained away from the boxing ring since losing to David Haye, he was set to feature Tony Christodoulou on the undercard of the X-Series 004 event which was headlined by the KSI vs Faze Temper bout.
Christodoulou pulled out of the bout and Fournier did not compete on the card. However, Fournier confronted KSI after he defeated Temper and they verbally agreed to a fight. The fight was officially announced on March 22, 2023, to take place on May 13, 2023. They met face-to-face in a press conference on April 5, where Fournier pushed KSI during their staredown.
