The new date for the Unified Light-Heavyweight Title bout is officially announced.Β 

It has been revealed that Artur Beterbiev vs Callum Smith is officially rescheduled for January 13, 2024. The unified Light-Heavyweight Title clash was supposed to take place on August 19, but it got postponed after Beterbiev suffered a bone infection which led to jaw surgery.Β 

The venue of this fight remains the same, and the show will still go on at the Videotron Centre in Quebec, Canada. In this match, Artur Beterbiev will defend his WBO, IBF & WBC Titles along with his 100% knockout record.Β 

Top Rank will be the one to distribute this fight whereas Beterbiev is expected to receive a hefty pay cheque of around $1.33 Million.Β 

Beterbiev is coming off an eighth-round TKO win against Anthony Yarde whereas Callum Smith is coming off a fourth-round TKO win against Mathieu Bauderlique.Β 

Callum lost the unified Middleweight Titles in 2022 to Canelo Alvarez, and now he will get another chance to become a world champion. Will he be able to capitalize on it? Or will Beterbiev continue his dominance?
