WWE WrestleMania 39: Rousey & Baszler Win Women’s Showcase Tag Match

Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler won the women’s tag team showcase fatal-4-way match on night 2 of WWE WrestleMania 39.

Storyline

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez qualified for this match by beating Emma and Tegan Nox. Shotzi and Natalya qualified by beating Lacey Evans and Xia Li. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler announced that they were added to the match since they have dominated the already-qualified team in the past. Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville qualified by beating Candice LeRae and Mia Yim.

Live Update

Sona Deville and Liv Morgan start things off. Liv manages to get an upper hand and Sonya Deville quickly tags Natalya. After some back-and-forth action, Liv tags Raquel who charges towards Natalya. The latter stops her, and tags Chelsea Green. 

Chelsea initially refuses to get inside the ring, but Raquel gets her inside. Green hits her with a missile dropkick, but it doesn’t have any effect on Raquel. She drops Chelsea but Shayna breaks the pin. Liv, Raquel & Natalya hits Raquel with a triple powerbomb. Liv then hits Ronda and Shayna with a suicide dive on the floor. 

Chelsea gets on the top and poses when Raquel comes inside the ring, so Chelsea decides to jump Natalya, Shotzi, and Sonya outside. Liv gets inside the ring as well, and Raquel throws her outside to clear ut the crowd. 

Raquel and Shotzi are inside as Raquel hits her with the fallaway slam. Sonya Deville makes and then she along with Chelsea takes out Raquel. Natalya & Shotzi comes from behind and double-teamed them. They try to get a pinfall but Chelsea breaks the pin. 

Natalya puts both Sonya & Chelsea in a double sharpshooter, but Liv breaks the submission with a dropkick from the second rope. Liv tags herself in but Shotzi dominates her a bit before she hits her with a code breaker followed by oblivion. Shayna tags herself in who then tags Ronda. She locks the armbar to Shotzi who quickly taps out.
