WWE NXT January 16, 2024 episode will feature a Battle Royal to determine the #1 contender for NXT Women’s Championship for Vengeance Day PLE.

Women’s Battle Royal & Tag Match
NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyrie announced last week that her challenger for Vengeance Day would be identified via a Battle Royal match. The added stipulation in the match is that the last 4 women will fight it out in a fatal 4-way match.
While this match goes on, Lola Vice has kept teasing a cash-in of her NXT Breakout Tournament contract. The confrontation last week led to brawl with Tatum Paxley once again coming to Valkyrie’s aid. Valkyrie and Paxley will face Vice and Elektra Lopez in a tag team match this week.
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic
The first-round matches for Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will continue on NXT January 16 episode. LWO (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro) will face Riley Osbourne and Duke Hudson from Chase U. Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams are set to face Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. Hayes suffered contusion during his appearance on SmackDown last week, but NXT has not announced his withdrawal from the match yet.
Oba Femi Addresses Fans
Oba Femi shocked everyone when he cashed in his NXT Breakout tournament contract against Dragon Lee and became the new NXT North American Champion. This week, Femi is set to speak in front of the fans is his first promo since winning the title. What does he have say?
Ridge Holland vs Joe Coffey
In anger and frustration of their loss in Dusty Rhodes Classic, Gallus stopped Ridge Holland while he was minding his own business. The argument led to challenges being issues and Holland will now face Joe Coffey in a singles match. Has Gallus irked the wrong guy?
