WWE NXT April 18: Lee vs Dempsey, Tag Title Triple Threat Set
3 matches are set for WWE NXT April 18, 2023 episode including North American Championship and NXT Tag Team Championship matches.
Former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez returned to NXT this week after skipping last week. She was confronted by Zoey Stark when she was talking to Tony D’Angelo and Stacks. As Stark took shots at Perez, she challenged her to a match on next week’s show.
NXT North American Champion Wes Lee was asked backstage whether he looks to continue with open challenges for the title. He was quickly interrupted by Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey who brought up their different style of wrestling. Lee responded by challenging him to face him next, and the match is now made official.
Schism interrupted NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus backstage this week. Later in the show, The Creed Brothers also expressed their desire to go after the tag team titles once again. Both these teams attacked Gallus after Joe Coffey defeated Tank Ledger in a singles match. A three-way tag team match was later made official for the show.
