Will Ospreay Officially Joins AEW at Full Gear 2023 Event
Will Ospreay has joined the All Elite Wrestling roster.
At AEW Full Gear 2023 event, it was officially revealed that Will Ospreay has inked a deal with All Elite Wrestling. Tony Schiavone introduced Ospreay, who then signed his contract center stage in the ring during the event.
Ospreay clarified that he won’t be making an immediate transition, expressing the need to complete his commitments with NJPW. His contract with NJPW remains in effect until February 2024. Ospreay indicated that once he fulfills his obligations with NJPW, he plans to embark on the journey toward AEW.

Ospreay secured the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in 2021 with NJPW and currently holds IWGP US/UK Championship. Ospreay is also set to defend his title at Wrestle Kingdom 18 2024 event against David Finlay and AEW’s Jon Moxley.
Will Ospreay has also hinted at his participation in AEW All In 2024 event and mentioned involving Tony Khan to assemble a notable lineup, particularly for AEW All In.
In a recent AEW WrestleDream 2023 event, Will Ospreay, alongside Don Callis’ family, secured victory against Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi in a match.
