Updates on WWE’s Plan for WrestleMania 37

Royal Rumble PPV kick starts the Road to WrestleMania. Does WWE have any plans in place for this year’s event already?

WrestleMania 37 Date & Location Changed

A recent report suggests that lack of long term planning is once again at the fore from WWE. The creative does not have any matches in place for WrestleMania 37 as of now.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed WWE’s current direction regarding WrestleMania 37. He reported that WWE doesn’t even have WrestleMania plans in mind at this point. The only thing fixed is that it is going to be a two-night event.

“There’s no plan. They don’t even have WrestleMania(37) booked, other than the fact that they’re doing two nights. They got that figured out at least.”

If these reports are to be believed, then WWE Creative has very little time to come up with something significant before Royal Rumble. The winner for men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches will go on to face the World Champions of either brand. So, the company needs to finalize those plans before next Sunday’s event.

At one point, the rumors were that WWE is planning for either Goldberg or Daniel Bryan to face WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 37. However, Goldberg is now in a program with Drew McIntyre while Daniel Bryan is losing far too often to be considered as a strong contender against Roman.
