- WWE has announced Triple Threat #1 Contender Match for WWE Championship
- Creative is unsure about rest of the card for TLC 2020
Drew McIntyre’s TLC 2020 Opponent
WWE is reportedly planning for WWE Champion Drew McIntyre to face Braun Strowman at WWE Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2020 PPV. This is as per Dave Meltzer from F4Wonline.com.
A triple threat match is announced to find the new #1 contender against McIntyre for next week’s RAW – Keith Lee vs Matt Riddle vs AJ Styles. Prior to that, Braun Strowman was removed from the building after getting in a physical altercation with WWE official Adam Pearce.
Strowman has been suspended from WWE until further notice. Now, Dave Meltzer is reporting that Braun Strowman will return to RAW and will be added to #1 contender match to make it a Fatal 4-Way match.
Meltzer added that WWE had absolutely no plans to put Lee, Riddle or AJ Styles in the WWE title match at TLC 2020.
Rest of TLC Card
On rest of the match card for WWE TLC 2020, Meltzer said that WWE creative does not have any definitive plans yet. Only McIntyre vs Strowman is a sure thing for TLC as of now.
Meltzer added that Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan is still in plans but there is also talk that the match could be pushed to Royal Rumble 2021. Meltzer said “this depends on decisions that have yet to be made.”
WWE Tables, Ladders & Chairs: Enter The Storm event takes place on 20 December 2020 from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL.
