Spoiler: Reach for the Sky ROH Tag Ladder Match Set for ROH Supercard 2023

New ROH tag team champions are set to be crowned at ROH Supercard of Honor 2023 on March 31. 

On March 8 during the tapings of AEW Rampage, Mark Briscoe announced that a ‘Reach for the Sky’ ladder match would take place at Supercard of Honor that will crown the new ROH tag team champions. 

Mark Briscoe out to announce Supercard of Honor March 31st in LA there will be what is being called a Reach For The Sky ladder match for the Ring Of Honor world tag team titles. Lucha Bros first team announced for the match.

The Briscoes defeated FTR to win the ROG tag team titles at ROH Final Battle 2022. However, they didn’t get a chance to defend these titles as Jay Briscoe passed away in a car accident on January 17. The following week, Mark Briscoe wrestled AEW Dynamite tribute show to Jay and made his AEW debut. 

Reach for the Sky was Jay Briscoe’s catchphrase, and hence the ladder match is billed using the same catchphrase. It can also be said to be another way to pay a tribute to the late great Jay. 

The Lucha Brothers are the first time to be announced for this ladder match. They are former AEW tag team champions and have won the tag titles across different promotions.
