ROH Supercard of Honor 2024
ROH Supercard of Honor 2024 is the 16th event in the Supercard of Honor series from Ring of Honor wrestling promotion. The event is set to take place on April 5, 2024, at Liacourus Center in Philadelphia, PA. The event has continued the tradition to take place during the WrestleMania weekend in the same city.
Eddie Kingston will defend ROH World Championship against Mark Briscoe. Athena will defend ROH Women’s Championship against Hikaru Shida.

STORYLINE
ROH World Championship: Mark Briscoe was supposed to challenge for ROH World title against Claudio Castagnoli, but he had to pull out due to an injury. Later, Eddie Kingston defeated Claudio in a title vs title match to win ROH World title at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam 2023. On March 14, 2024 ROH episode, a video played where Kingston brought up how Briscoe was supposed to get a title shot against Claudio. So, he proposed to defend the title against him at Supercard of Honor.
ROH Women’s Championship: Athena became the ROH Women’s Champion at Final Battle 2022 event and continued her reign for over an year where she defeated several title contenders. On March 14, 2024, episode of ROH, Athena got a win over Aisha in a proving grounds match. Following the match, Athena called out for a better challenge for her. Hikaru Shida came out to confront Athena and pointed her kendo stick towards the title. The match was later made official for this event.
ROH Women’s TV Championship: On December 16, 2023 ROH episode, Tony Khan announced a new championship to be created in ROH Women’s World Television Championship. A tournament was later announced to crown the inaugural champion. The tournament started in February and featured 16 participants. Billie Starkz defeated Mercedes Martinez, and Queen Aminata defeated Red Velvet to make it the final of the tournament which was announced for Supercard of Honor.
Castle vs Johnny: Dalton Castle defeated Johnny TV in a singles match on December 7, 2023 episode of ROH. After this, Johnny started interfering in Castle’s matches. This led to Castle chasing after Johnny several times as he demanded a rematch. The rematch took place on February 29, 2024 episode which had the stipulation for the custody of Castle’s manservants, The Boys (Brandon and Brent). Johnny won that match after Taya Valkyrie interfered. Castle continued to ask Johnny for another match before it was eventually announced to be a Fight Without Honor match at Supercard.
ROH Tag Team Championship: The Kingdom faced The Infantry in a Proving Ground match on April 4 episode of ROH on HonorClub. The bout went to a ten-minute time limit draw which meant that The Infantry were eligible for a shot at ROH Tag Team Championship which were held by the Kingdom.
