Lio Rush Injured, Out of My Name is GCW, To Miss IMPACT Tapings

Game Changer Wrestling announced that Lio Rush is injured and will be unable to compete.

Lio Rush was scheduled to face Mike Bailey at My Name is GCW event, but unfortunately, due to his injury, he has been sidelined. Although Rush has not commented on anything about his injury.

Mike Bailey will now face Blake Christian for GCW World Championship as per GCW’s announcement. My Name is GCW event is scheduled for August 4 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Jeff Hardy is set to feature on the promotion for the first at the event.

Lio Rush is currently the IMPACT X-Division Champion. He won the title at the IMPACT Slammiversary 2023 PPV event by defeating Chris Sabin. He will now miss IMPACT TV tapings on July 28 and 29.

Lio Rush is also scheduled for a tag match at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2 PPV event, in the match he is scheduled with Trey Miguel to face Mike Bailey & Hiromu Takahashi. IMPACT is yet to acknowledge Rush’s injury until now.
