Alex Shelley vs Nick Aldis World Title Set for IMPACT Slammiversary
Nick Aldis will challenge Alex Shelly for IMPACT World Championship at Impact Slammiversary 2023 PPV event.
At IMPACT Against All Odds on June 9, the first-ever 8-4-1 match took place involving Bully Ray, Jonathan Gresham, Heath, Nick Aldis, Moose, Mike Bailey, Rich Swann, and PCO. The winner was to be determined the #1 contender for IMPACT World Championship.
The winners of the first round were Bully Ray, Nick Aldis, Jonathan Gresham, and Heath. The second round started with the fatal 4-way match, which resulted in Nick Aldis securing victory by making Heath submit to the Coverleaf.

Later in the main event of Against All Odds, Alex Shelly defeated Steve Maclin to win the IMPACT World Championship. IMPACT Wrestling then confirmed that Aldis will be Shelley’s first title defense at Slammiversary PPV.
One more match was already announced for the show in the form of Trinity challenging Deonna Purrazzo for the Impact Knockouts World Championship match. Impact Slammiversary is set to take place on July 15, 2023, at St. Cl. IMPACT Wrestling will also celebrate its 21st anniversary at Slammiversary on the same nnight.
