A recent report talked about audio and scheduling problems involving Warner Bros. Discovery for this week’s AEW Dynamite.

During the September 27 episode of AEW Dynamite episode, audio problems on TBS occurred. Similar issues arose on October 4, but it seems these audio issues weren’t AEW’s most significant concern.

Based on information from Fightful Select, insiders from WBD have verified that they were alerted to a mistake concerning the AEW Dynamite program’s listing on the morning of October 4th. This error affected viewership across various service providers. The source from WBD characterized all of the errors as unforgivable and acknowledged feeling sorry about them.

Dynamite viewership for October 4 episode suffered a result with only 800,000 average viewers with 0.28 ratings for 18-49 demographic. October 3 episode of WWE NXT attracted more viewers with 857,000 viewers with 0.22 ratings. Both programs are scheduled to compete directly against each other next Tuesday, October 10th.

On the October 10th episode of NXT, viewers can look forward to seeing John Cena, Cody Rhodes, and Asuka making appearances. In contrast, the October 10th episode of AEW Dynamite will showcase Adam Copeland’s debut match in AEW and an AEW Women’s Title bout.

The report mentions that there was considerable frustration within AEW because they frequently bear the blame for these issues, even though they have no control over them.

The frustration is also due to the fact that this week’s episode was Dynamite debut for Adam Copeland, and the viewership suffered due to this issue. AEW also had to re-air a segment featuring Adam Cole visiting Roderick Strong’s house.
