RESULTS & UPDATES

The show kicks off with a recap of last week’s ending with The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn being attacked, and Samoa Joe offering MJF to be his partner.

Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta defeated Orange Cassidy & Hook in a tag team match. Cassidy and Hook attack BCC duo in the crowd during their entrance. BCC took the upper hand before they could get into the ring. Cassidy and Hook came back into the match which went into a back-and-forth pattern. In the finish, Mox no-sold Cassidy’s Orange Punch and threw him out of the ring. He then hit Paradigm shift on Hook to get the pinfall win.

We see Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Kota Ibushi and Paul Wight arriving to the arena.

Tony Schiavone brought out Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland for a segment. The condition was that if they attack each other, they would be suspended until the end of 2023, and the match at Full Gear would be off. Page did the talking, and called Hangman a dumb for getting into his house. He kept insulting Swerve who got agitated but controlled himself. Page also insulted Prince Nana and said he would steal all of his weed. At the end, Page attacked Nana as the condition of not getting physical did not apply to Nana. Security detail came into the ring, but Page ended up taking them down.

Roderick Strong called Adam Cole and said MJF is the devil. Cole did not take him seriously.

Skye Blue defeated Red Velvet in a singles match to qualify for TBS Women’s Championship match. A back and forth match between the two friends with Blue hitting Code Blue to get the pinfall.

Mariah May’s meeting with Toni Storm was arranged by RJ City. May told Toni how big of a fan is she, and how she is coming from Stardom just like her. Toni did not take any interest in her and told her to leave. Toni then ordered her butler to tell Mr. Khan to get her a tune up match on Friday.

Samoa Joe defeated an Enhancement Talent. After the match, he told MJF that he had no other choice than to choose him as his partner.

The Young Bucks(Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) defeated Penta El Zero Meido & Komander in a tag team match. The Bucks had to hit a low blow and followed it with Judas Effect & BTE Trigger to get the win.

After the break, The Young Bucks are interviewed backstage. Kenny Omega confronted them over the low blow they had to use to win their match. Chris Jericho also came in and the argument only increased further. The Bucks start a brawl with Jericho. Omega and security pulled them apart.

The Gunns(Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) defeated Peter Avalon & Jacoby Watts in a tag team match. After the match, The Gunns called out MJF to warn him that he would be facing them alone at Full Gear.

Paul Wight, Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi defeated Don Callis Family(Powerhouse Hobbs, Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita) & Brian Cage.

AEW World Champion MJF came out for the main event segment and talked about being left alone and how people around him keep getting hurt. He says he is in for Full Gear to take on Jay White and The Gunns. He also ridiculed whoever stole his devil mask and attacked The Acclaimed. Jay White came out and engaged him in promo. Juice Robinson and The Gunns tried to attack MJF, but he was alert. Juice, however, caught him with Left Hand of God. White also joined the beatdown and hit Bladerunner on MJF. The group stood tall to close the show.

PREVIEW

Apart from the matches announced, AEW World Championship MJF is also set to have a promo segment. We still do not know who will be his tag team partner at Full Gear in ROH Tag Team title match. Will we know about it in this episode?

A star-studded street fight is set to take place with the likes of Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Kota Ibushi and a returning Paul Wight taking on Don Callis Family. Jericho and Omega are already set to take on The Young Bucks at Full Gear. The Bucks will also be in action against Penta El Zero Meido and Komander. Komander takes the place of Rey Fenix in the match who is still not cleared for action.

A qualifier is set for TBS Women’s Championship. Red Velvet and Skye Blue will fight over who will join Kris Statlander and Julia Hart in the triple threat match at Full Gear. Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta are set to take on Orange Cassidy and Hook in a tag team match. Cassidy defends his International title against Moxley at Full Gear.
