AEW Collision Sept 9: Eliminator Semifinals, Bullet Club Gold Match Set
AEW Collision episode of September 9, 2023, will feature the semifinals of World Title Eliminator tournament along with Bullet Club Gold being in a tag team match.
Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament started on Dynamite this week(on September 6). Roderick Strong defeated Trent Beretta despite battling his neck injury by hitting jumping knee and End of Heartache. Darby Allin also battled an injured back to defeat Nick Wayne via submission using Can Opener.
Strong and Darby will clash in one of the semifinals in the tournament on Collision September 9. The line-up for the other semifinal will be decided on Rampage this week. Jeff Hardy faces Samoa Joe for a spot in the semifinal while Penta El Zero Meido will battle Jay Lethal for the spot. The winners of these two matches will clash in the other semifinal bout on Collision this week.
The final is set for Dynamite September 13 episode and the tournament winner will later face MJF for AEW World Championship at AEW Grand Slam Dynamite on September 20.
Bullet Club Gold are also announced to be in action. Their opponent are not revealed as of now. It is also unclear how many members- 2, 3 or 4- will be in action.
Additionally, we will hear from Bryan Danielson after his win over Ricky Starks at All Out. We will also hear from AEW Women’s Champion Saraya and Ruby Soho. Saraya is set to defend her title at Dynamite Grand Slam.
September 9, 2023 episode of AEW Collision is set to air from Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, OH. The line-up for the show is as below:
